Barry John Acting Studio was first established in 1997 as Imago Acting School in Delhi and was moved to Mumbai in 2007 on students’ requests. The studio has been repeatedly counted among the best acting schools in Delhi and Mumbai for 20 years now. It is currently operating under a non-profit association, the Theatre in Education Trust. It offers various acting courses with different timelines such as the 4-month or 6-month diploma and the 3-month certification. it also offers summer workshops, corporate workshops and pre-production acting workshops.

Barry John Acting Studio offers the best acting courses in Delhi and Mumbai with its unique and proven methodology. The studio uses a special Barry John Method in teaching which combines the actor’s body, voice, mind and the actor himself/ herself. Students are taught Improvisation sessions, performance projects and film projects. The studio addresses all the related issues such as writing resumes, photographic portfolios, showreels, understanding industry personnel and terminology, interviews, auditions, screen tests etc. The studio also offers weekend classes to kids aged between 8 to 15 under its young actors' club where they create their own plays from experience. Its alumni are working on various Hollywood and Bollywood projects. It is also in talks of opening the actor’s retreat at Kullu next year which will be equipped with all the required tech for film editing.
