Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Institute of Management Science Kolkata West Bengal was founded in the year 2000 by Dr K. M. Munshi. It was started at a small level. Now they have 112 centres. out of which, 7 are overseas. the institution has 280 constituent institutions. The college has research and development centres for the research purposes of their students. The college is affiliated to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad university of technology. The institution is approved by All India Council Technical Education [AICTE]. Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan Management, Kolkata was ranked in All India B-School Ranking from the Business Standard.

The college has placement and training cell which facilitates the students with opportunities for internships and full-time placements. The college also provides industrial visits for their students to develop the industry-oriented approach in them. The Activities like blood donation camps, Workshops and sports day are also conducted on the college campus.
