The students who are willing to get admission in the BLDE University should know about the Eligibility criteria of the University. The University offers the students to get admission in the MBBS Course. The admission eligibility criteria of the University is :
Eligibility criteria
- The candidates must have passed their class 12 examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology as their main subjects and English as their compulsory subject from a recognised University to get the admission.
- The students from the General category should score at least 50% in their qualification examination to get the admission.
- The students from the Reserved category should score at least 40% in their qualification examination to get the admission.
- The students with 40%-70% disability should score at least 45% in their qualification examination to get the admission.
Application process for MBBS
The students who are willing to get the admission in the BLDE University should know about the Application Process of the University. The University offers the students to get admission to the MBBS. The application process for the admission of MBBS in the BLDE University is given below.
Application process of the University for admission
- The students should visit the official website of the BLDE University.
- Log on to the official website.
- The students should fill the details in the application form.
- The students should upload the following scanned documents:
- Photograph & Signature. The scanned images of Photograph and Signature should be in jpg format only and it should be less than 1 MB.
- 10th Class marks card: Upload the scan image of 10th class marks card issued by the board.
- 12th Class marks card: Upload the scan image of 12th class marks card issued by the board (note: if already passed the examination)
- Caste / Category certificate: Upload the scan image of SC / ST / Locomotor Disability[as per in information brochure] / OBC[Karnataka only i.e. Category 1, Category 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B] issued by the competent authority.
- After filling the correct details, the students should pay the payment fee of Rs 2000 through Online or through Offline. The payment can be done by Credit/Debit card or Net Banking. The payment can also send as a DD to the following address:

Documents required during the Application process
- BLDEU-UGET 2024 TAT Card
- BLDEU-UGET 2024 Rank Card & Counselling Letter
- SSLC/SSC/10th class Marks Card and Passing certificate
- Birth Certificate issued by the competent authority if SSLC/SSC/10th class certificate does not contain proof of date of birth.
- PUC II year or 12th Standard or equivalent examination marks card and Passing certificate.
- Migration Certificate (wherever applicable)
- Transfer Certificate.
- Character and Conduct certificate.
- Study certificates for Ten Years (between 1 st standard to 12th standard)
- An authentication letter from the College where the candidate has completed 10+2 or PUC-II or HSC (APPENDIX I).
- Candidate and Parent PAN Card Copy.
- An affidavit in the format as per APPENDIX - II signed by the candidate and countersigned by Parent/Guardian in the presence of Public Notary on a stamp paper of Rs. 100/-
- Three Recent passport-size coloured photographs with name and date.
- Candidates claiming Admission under SC / ST / Locomotor disability category and OBC (Karnataka state only) as declared by Government of India / Karnataka shall furnish the certificates to that effect issued by the competent authority (in English version).
- Domicile certificate for Karnataka OBC candidates (APPENDIX – III)
- DDs (of any Nationalized Bank / Scheduled Bank ‘payable at Vijayapura (Bijapur)-586103, Karnataka’) for tuition fees and other fees.
- Five set of self-attested photocopies of the above-mentioned originals arranged in same order
Admission Process for MBBS
The students who are willing to get admission in the BLDE University must know about the Admission process of the University. The Admission process of the University is given below :
- Candidates will be selected for admission to MBBS programme on the basis of their performance in the university entrance test (BLDEU-UGET).
- NRI/Foreign/PIO candidates need not appear in the BLDEU-UGET. Their selection will be based on the qualifying examination marks
- The students who are shortlisted in the admission process will be called for the counselling.
Eligibility Criteria for MD
- Applicants seeking admission must possess MBBS degree from a college recognized by Medial Council of India (MCI) to be considered eligible.
- Applicants seeking admission must pass with a minimum percentage of marks in the entrance test i.e. 50% for general category applicants, 40% for SC/ST/OBC and candidates, 45% for applicants with 40 to 70% disability of lower limbs to be eligible.
- Applicants should have completed their internship by April 30, 2017 to be eligible.
- Foreign / PIO / NRI applicants seeking admission are exempted from BLDEU-PGET and their admission will be based on qualifying examination marks only

Eligibility Criteria for MD
- Applicants seeking admission must possess a degree in MBBS from a college recognized by Medial Council of India to be considered eligible.
- Applicants seeking admission must pass with minimum percentage of marks in the entrance test i.e. 50% for general category candidates, 40% for SC/ST/OBC and candidates with 40 to 70% disability of lower limbs must secure 45% of marks
- Applicants seeking admission should have completed internship by 30th April 2016
- Foreign / PIO / NRI students are exempted from BLDEU-PGET-2016 and their admission will be based on their qualifying examination marks.

Eligibility Criteria for M.S.c
Applicants seeking admission must possess a degree in B.Sc (CBZ) from this university or any other recognized university to be considered for eligibility.
The university offers M.Sc. program in the following 4 disciplines:

Application Process MD, MS & M.Sc (Medicine)
- For applying to MD/MS/MSc. programmes, applicants can download the prescribed application form available at the university website.
- Applicants seeking admission can register themselves by submitting completed applications, along with the entrance test/application fee of Rs. 4000/- for MD/MS programmes and Rs. 1500/- for M.Sc programme
- Fee can be submitted through online payment modes or in the form of Demand Draft (DD) drawn in favour of “The Registrar, BLDE University” and payable at Vijayapura (Bijapur)-586103

Admission Process MD, MS & M.Sc (Medicine)
- Selection of the eligible candidate seeking admission.to the MD/MS and M.Sc. programmes will be based on their scores in the university entrance examination (BLDEU-PGET) or qualifying examination merit.
Reservation Criteria
- 15% seats are reserved for the NRI/PIO/Foreign and 5% of the total seats are reserved for Institutional Preference/In-Service

Counseling process:
Eligible candidates seeking admission to the MD/MS course will be called for counseling on the basis of merit list prepared by BLDE University
Documents to be submitted at the time of counseling:
- BLDEU-PGET-2016 TAT Card.
- BLDEU-PGET-2016 Rank Card/Call Letter.
- SSLC/SSC/10th class Certificate or Birth Certificate issued by the competent authority of the eligible candidate.
- PUC-II or 12th Standard or equivalent marks card of the eligible candidate.
- Marks Cards of MBBS course from 1st year to final year including marks cards of failed examinations, if failed.
- Attempt Certificate.
- Internship Completion Certificate (if not completed provisional completion letter from Dean / Principal.
- Provisional / Permanent Registration certificate from Karnataka Medical Council, Bangalore.
- Degree Certificate/ Provisional Degree Certificate.

- Conduct and Character Certificate from the Head of the Institute, from where the candidate has studied last.
