CIT Kokrajhar eligibility criteria state that for admission to the course the candidates must have passed their Master’s in Design/ Multimedia/ Animation/ Engineering/ Mass Media Communication/ Planning & Architecture/ fashion design in a relevant area with 60% marks or a Two-year Master’s in Management / Computer Application (MBA / MCA or equivalent) degree, with one year of professional experience with at least 60% marks in aggregate or BFA (4-year professional program, after 10+2)/ GD Art (5-year program after 10th standard) with three-year professional experience, with at least 70% marks or Four-year Undergraduate Diploma in Design with a postgraduate qualification in relevant area with at least 70% marks or A two-year Post-Graduate Diploma in Design and relevant areas (NID/CEPT or equivalent) with three years of professional experience with at least 60% marks for admission to the course.

Ph.D. Selection Process

The selection process is through a Written Test followed by a Personal Interview.

For admission in CIT, the candidate can apply through JEE Entrance or the own entrance of CIT popularly known as CITDEE. The candidates must have a relevant score in their respective entrance examinations for admission to the institute such as CITBDAT (B.Tech), CITDEE (B.Design), CITDEE (Diploma), CITMTEE (M.Tech), CITMDAT (M.Des). Also, the institute offers Vertical and Lateral entry to the institute.
