Entrance Exams & Admissions : It offers admission for Diploma and B.Tech courses through Direct/Vertical or Lateral entry whereas, for B.Des;it offers admission only through Direct or Vertical entry. In case of B.Tech, the candidate should have passed 10+2 (Science) with minimum 45% marks. Admission to B.Tech is done on the basis of marks scored in JEE Main as well as CITBTEE. For B.Tech Lateral entry, the candidate should have completed Diploma. You can easily get admitted if you scored minimum 50 in JEE.

Placements & Internships : Students go through summer training and internships parallely in companies like Jio, airtel and Institutes like NIT IIT Bsnl etc. Companies came for recruitment drive is not that much since only four batches have been passed out yet. Salary figure is around 4 lakhs per annum and highest package got is 5 lakhs. Alumni network is quite good. At every year technical fest an alumni program is organized to talk about real life challenge.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : Central Institute of Technology Kokrajhar provides b.tech, diploma and b.des course. B.tech course have 6 branches including ECE ,IE,FET,IT,CE and CSE. Candidates need to appear the Institute's own entrance exam CITDEE to get admission in B.Tech course or by applying JEE mains score for the reserved seats. For admission both offline and online mode is available. The entrance exam is conducted in three hours with a total of 150 and cutoff 50 for general and 30-35 for others
Fees & Scholarships : Course fee for degree course is around 50 thousands for general and less for others . except general students, reserved category students gets monthly scholarships. At the times of admission, local SBI Bank branch came for education loans.
Academics & Faculty : Class timing starts from 8:30 to 12:30 and 1:3.0 to 4:30 with one-hour lunch gap in between. Assignments are allotted regularly and 4 class test are conducted every semester. Two before mid-semester exam and two after. Faculty are not that experienced at starting but now recruitment is done through IIT guwahati that's why teaching quality is improving.overall college experience was good
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : From infrastructure point of view CIT Kokrajhar is one of the best Institute in North East. There are total 4 campus hostel, construction is going on. Food in hostel is average and hostel semester fee is 10k which includes fooding and lodging. Quality of labs classrooms are good. Institute provides LAN connection facility to hostel borders which is very fast.
Clubs & Associations : There are two main festival is organized every year. One is annual cultural fest and one is technical fest. Numerous numbers of students club including quiz club, robotics club, aerospace club exists which keep conducting events

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria for B.Tech programme is that, you should have to pass your 12th standard with a minimum percentage provided by the college, which may vary every year. The admission is done through entrances conducted by our college (name: CITDEE) and also through JEE MAIN. Normally the cutoffs vary according to the overall performance but I appeared through CITDEE which consists 125 marks and scored 60.

Placements & Internships : Since I am a newcomer to the college, I have not done any internship or haven't got any stipends. As far I know, the placements are quite good for CSE and IT branches..!!
Entrance Exams & Admissions : In CIT Kokrajhar, the eligibility criteria for B.Tech is that the candidate must complete his/her higher secondary. For admission in CIT the candidate can apply through JEE Entrance or the own entrance of CIT popularly known as CITDEE..!! The cutoff changes from time to time and based on caste !! A student may come from anywhere and from any state of INDIA.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is around Rs70k(INR) per year. There are various scholarship options. No loans are required.
Academics & Faculty : Class timing is from 8:30 am. We get project assignments every semester.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 4 hostels in the campus and 2 outside the campus. There are many PGs outside available. Food isn't good. College infrastructure is good.

Placements & Internships : I have done a couple of Virtual Internships like for LOL Ventures Pvt. limited as a content Writer and for Team Indus as their Marketing Ambassador. Hope to get some good internships in the coming 3rd year. The placement here is a real issue. We hardly get on campus placements. Last year just Amazon and SRD Food Pvt. Ltd visited the campus. Also, a few got placed through off-campus placements. To name a few Companies that Visited the campus till now are- Amazon, SRD Food Products Pvt. Ltd., Wipro Technologies, HP, Simplex Solutions Pvt. Ltd and some others. Most of the Placed students are from the FET Branch and others are distributed among IT IE CSE. One cannot rely on the campus placement here they need to find on their own.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : I was selected on the basis of the Examination CITDEE (Central Institute of Technology Degree Entrance Examination), though I was too eligible for JEE MAIN as I secured 87 marks. I secured a rank of AIR 53(NEON) and was placed on the waiting list. But finally, I managed to get the seat. So to get admission in CIT Kokrajhar a Degree aspirant student must take either the CITDEE or else send their JEE MAIN. Marks as an eligibility Criteria. For Lateral Entry Students.
Fees & Scholarships : Per year it's around Rs60000 (INR). There are various scholarships and a good number of students gets it. Majority of them is the SC/ST scholarships. Merit scholarships from National Organizations are very few. Loan For a middle-class family isn't required as per my view as for 4 years of study you just need to spend only around 2.5 Lakhs INR. Mostly the loans are available in SBI.
Academics & Faculty : Academics are as per average with other institutes. There are regular assignments and class tests. There are a tight routine, especially regular classes. Teaching methodology can say is a bit good leaving aside a few faculties. I don't know who the hell on this earth gave them the job. But overall I like the teaching here. My Overall experience is not so quite good.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are at present 3 Boys Hostel(SJ JD SNM) and 1 Girls' Hostel (GS) inside the campus. 2 girls hostel are outside the campus. Fees are around Rs10000 (INR) per semester. There are a good number of PGs outside college and on an average, they cost Rs4000 (INR) per month. Food is not good. The library is just a wow, frankly though it's not as big as those of IITs or NITs but its definitely brilliant in its class. Classrooms are quite good but there's a shortage of classrooms. Campus has partially WIFI. Speed is good. Other infrastructure though in the developmental stage but are good.
Clubs & Associations : Though 2 years back practically we didn't have any clubs or societies in the institute. But recently in this last 1 year we saw the establishment of a quite handy number of clubs like Astrophysics Club, Robotics Cum Innovation Club, Inventech a software club (1st club of CITK), Khobam( Cultural Club), Q-city (Quiz Club), Debate Club, Entrepreneurship Cell, Artistry(Unofficial), Women's Cell. The institute's Technical Festival is TECHCRACY and the Cultural Cum Annual Festival is ECSTASY.

Placements & Internships : Most of the students prefer to continue their study as placement ratio is less. And few of the students have joined top MNCs Likes of Nestle, Wipro etc.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : HSLC or equivalent. ASSAM CEE is the entrance test for the respective course. And there are no perfect cutoffs, chances of admission will be higher if a score is more than 80 in the entrance.
Fees & Scholarships : Course fee per year is less than Rs10,000(INR) P.A. Students can avail any scholarship they are eligible to. Loans are not required as fees are too low.
Academics & Faculty : Classes start at 8:30 AM till 4:30 PM. Classes are held 5 days a week. Classes have built-in smart class features equipped with projector and boards etc. Excellent classrooms.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are currently 5 hostels. 4 inside the campus and other in the town. 3 for boys and 2 for girls. Hostel food is healthy. Fees are also not so high. Every hostel has good internet connection equipped with LAN. Two students can accommodate in a room.
Clubs & Associations : College has different clubs, like Quiz club, Cultural Club, Robotics etc. Main festivals of the college are tech fest and annual sports and Cultural week. And freshman Social, Christmas, Bihu as well. College life is awesome over here.

Academics & Faculty : Daily morning 8:30 am to evening 4:30 pm class time. Quality is good.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : 6 hostels are there. Hostel fee per semester is 15k(INR). No need of PG's and they take 5k(INR) per month. Food quality average.
Clubs & Associations : Inventech. Robotics club. And much more for dancing singing etc. Technocracy and Ecstacy and many more.
