Scholarship & Stipend

Teachers’ Council provides stipends t the poor and meritorious students.
The Govt. of India also awards a few scholarships to students belonging to SC, ST and OBC categories.
Nearly 10% of the students are given financial assistance from the students’ Aid Fund yearly. The selection is made on the basis of merit, financial status and class attendance.
Students’ union also helps students in financial distress.
For the eleventh plan period (2007-12) 20 SC/ST students each year will get a monthly stipend of Rs.500.00 only on the basis of merit and attendance in classes. Eligible students must submit caste certificate and also family income certificate.

Awards/Prizes

Medals are given to students who secure highest marks among the college students in the University final examination in respective honours subjects.
Medals/Prizes are given to students who secure highest marks among general students (one each for B.A., B.Com., B.Sc., Pure Sc. and Bio. Sc.
Award is given to Students who perform well in different cultural programmes. The college appeals to all to generously contribute to start scholarships for the students of the college in memory of some of their lovable ones.

Fees & Scholarships : Course fee is about Rs 3000 per year. Scholarship option are very few, just one from state govt. Loans are not available so easily.

Academics & Faculty : Class timings are good projects and assignments are good too. Quality of teaching is average but method are not so good, did not have a single computer or projector in class rooms. Overall the college is good but teaching quality and techniques can be improved a lot.

Placements & Internships : No such key companies. No idea about the average salary. Alumni network is not so good

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Hostels is only one and in very bad condition. Outside college accommodation fees are costly Rs 8000-10000 per month. Quality of class rooms and labs are poor as well as infrastructure is not so good.
