Christ College, Thrissur is an autonomous college established by Devamatha Province of Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI) in the year 1956. This college is a minority institution administered by Christ College Educational Society. Christ College affiliated to Calicut University and Re-accredited by NAAC with highest grade ‘A’.

The college offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate programmes under Choice Based Credit Semester system. They also offer Professional Programme in Physical Education, PG Diploma courses, Doctoral Programmes and UGC Career oriented Vocational courses. Candidates can apply online through the college admission portal for the Christ College admission 2024. The admission will be based on the merit. Admission for B.P.Ed, M.Sc Environmental Science, M.Sc Clinical Psychology, M.Sc Computer Science and MSW will be based on the Entrance examination conducted by the college.

Courses Offered by Christ College

The College offers BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BCA, BSW, BBA, B.Voc and professional Degree programmes Integrated B.P.Ed, B.Sc and B.Li.Sc courses under UG programme. Under PG programme they offers M.Sc, M.Com, MA and MSW courses and also offers PG Diploma in Sustainable and green energy technologies. Under the Research department the college offers 6 Ph.D programmes.

Christ College Application Form

The application form will be available in the official website of Christ College, Irinjalakuda. For admission through Management Quota, candidates must apply directly to the college office after submitting the online application.

• Go to the Christ College admission portal. Select the link for online application.
• Pay the application fee before filling the application form.
• Application fee for General candidates is INR 250/- for SC / ST category candidates application fee is INR 125/-
• Make sure that all information entered into the application form is correct before submitting.
• Take a print out of the application form for further requirements.
• Candidates have to produce a photocopy of the application with the required documents at the time of admission.

Christ College Admission Fee

Candidates have to pay the admission fee at the time of admission. The college offers some fee concession to reserved category students. Admitted students can pay tuition fee and other fee based on the Christ College fee structure.

• Tuition fee will be collected from the students at the beginning of the academic year.
• Caution fee for General category students is INR 600/- for SC / ST category students is INR 360/-
• General category students have to pay tuition fee INR 1800/- and SC / ST category students have to pay INR 1000/-
• For Ph.D in Science courses candidates have to pay INR 10,170/- for Ph.D in Arts courses check the detailed fees structure.

Entrance Exams Accepted by Christ College

Christ College will conduct Entrance Tests for admission to the B.P.Ed, M.Sc Environmental Science, M.Sc Clinical Psychology, M.Sc Computer Science and MSW courses. 

• For admission to the four year integrated B.P.Ed courses, candidates have to appear in an Entrance Test, which includes Aptitude test, physical fitness test, performance in sports and games, medical examination and personal interview. All candidates have register online through the official website of the college.
• For M.Sc Environmental Science, Clinical Psychology, Computer Science courses the college will conduct an Entrance Test on topics related to Environment Studies. 
• MSW admission will be based on an Entrance Test conducted by the college.

• Fill the application form online and submit it.
• Successfully submitted candidates can attend the entrance test.
• Candidates have to  carry print out of the registration form, Medical Fitness Certificate, 2 Passport size photos, Plus Two Certificate / Two year C.P.Ed / any other eligible certificate, All sports & Games certificates in original and photocopy, Age proof certificate and Sports kit for selection trial at the time of B.P.Ed Entrance Test.
• Pay registration fee online by Debit / Credit / Net Banking.
• Registration fee for General Category candidates INR 345/-  For SC/ST candidates INR 230/-

Christ College Entrance Test Hall Ticket

Hall ticket for all Entrance Test will be available on the Christ College website. The examination date, time, venue and other details will be entered into the hall ticket. Candidates can download the hall ticket before the examination.

• Log in to the Christ College online candidates login portal using User ID and Password received at the time of registration.
• Check all the details entered in to the admit card.
• Click on download. Take a printout of the admit card.
• Candidates without the admit card is not allowed in the Examination hall.

Christ College UG Admission 2024

The college offers aide and self financing Undergraduate courses. Aided UG courses are BA in Economics and Functional English, B.Sc in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Geology, B.Com and B.Voc. Self financing courses are B.Sc in Mathematics, Physics, Geology, Computer Science, Psychology and Food Technology, BA in MAlayalam, English Literature and English & History, B.Com, B.Com Professional, BCA, BSW and BBA.

Christ College UG Eligibility

The basic eligibility to apply for Christ irinjalakuda, is a pass in Higher Secondary Examination of Kerala Government or any other recognised examination equivalent thereto. 

Christ College PG Admission 2024

Both Aided and Self Financing Postgraduate programmes are offered by the college. Aided PG programmes M.Sc in Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, Environmental Science and Mathematics, M.Com, MA in Economics and History are offered by the college. Self Financing Postgraduate courses offered by the college are MA in English Literature, M.Sc in Statistics, Botany, Applied Geology, Clinical Psychology and Computer Science and MSW.

Christ College PG Eligibility

Candidates should have a Bachelor Degree in respective subject from Calicut University or any other recognised University with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. The admission for PG courses will be based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations. Admission for M.Sc Environment Science course will be based on the marks obtained in the Entrance Test and Interview conducted by the college.

Christ College Professional Degree Admission 2024

The college offers professional degree programmes Integrated B.P.Ed, B.Sc in Catering Science and Hotel Management and Bachelor of Library Science (BLisc) courses. For admission to the professional degree programme B.P.Ed, candidates should have qualify an Entrance Test conducted by the college.

Christ College Professional Degree Eligibility

For B.P.Ed and B.Sc courses candidates should have a pass in 12th examination in any group with 50% marks in aggregate. For BLiSc. Courses candidates should have a degree in any stream with 50% marks.
