CMR University, School of Management, Bangalore, offers scholarships to assist students. The scholarship is offered to students with extraordinary academic performance and belonging to students with financially weak backgrounds. Further details on the School of Management CMR University scholarship are given below.

CMR Sports Scholarship: This scholarship is awarded to students having participated in sports competitions including track and field events, athletics, cricket, hockey, basketball, volleyball, swimming, and fencing at the state, national, and international levels.

Outside Scholarships: The students can also apply for scholarships from other sponsors to receive financial aid to assist with their tuition fees. Other organisations and sources (not affiliated with CMR University) that offer scholarships to students who meet their eligibility requirements are listed below.

CMR Merit Scholarship: This scholarship at CMR University School of Management is offered to students pursuing undergraduate or postgraduate courses with an exemplary academic track record.

CMR Students Scholarships: The students applying from within the CMR Group of Institutions are eligible for the CMR University School of Management scholarship. For example, students transferring from CMR PU / +2 to UG programs and CMR UG to PG programs are eligible for a scholarship of Rs 5000 for UG/PG courses except for CMRU SOET scholarship holders. The scholarship amount applicable is Rs 20,000 for courses offered at the SOET.

Social Service: This CMR University School of Management scholarship is offered to NCC – A and B certification students. The scholarship offers a 10% tuition fee waiver to the students.

Scholarship for Siblings: The candidates whose siblings are studying in the same School of CMR University or studying higher education in any institution under the CMR Group Benefits are eligible for this scholarship. The college offers a tuition fee waiver of Rs 25,000 for courses offered at the CMRU SOET and Rs 10,000 for other CMRU schools/groups of institutions.

Referral Scheme Proposal: The scholarship is for existing staff or students referring any of their relatives, neighbours, or persons known to them. The School of Management CMR University scholarship offers a Rs 15,000 discount on tuition fees for general UG and PG courses.

Single Parent: The children of single parents (mother only) having scored 70% marks at the qualifying examination will receive Rs 25,000 as a tuition fee waiver.

Sisters: The scholarship is eligible for students from the North East region, such as Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, and Tripura. The scholarship offers Rs 20,000 as a tuition fee waiver (Except CMRCBS).

Andaman & Nicobar: The students from Andaman and Nicobar islands are eligible for a School of Management CMR University scholarship of Rs 25,000 as a tuition fee waiver.

Differently-Abled Students: The students who have a proper document of claim are eligible for this scholarship. The committee is headed by the Hon’ble Vice-chancellor and Pro vice Chancellors, and Registrar as members in the committee examine the evidence and declare the concession/scholarship.

Terms and Conditions

The students can avail anyone out of the merit scholarship, sports scholarship, fee discounts, fee concession.
The payment of fees in instalments or semesters will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Fee waivers for all types of students are only valid for the first year of admission.
