Placements & Internships : Key companies like IIT Mumbai, llser, RCC, RGCB, Amala hospital etc hire from the College of Agriculture, Thirvanthapuram. Salary figures for specialist officer is above Rs. 30,000 and for Alumins doing research is generally around Rs. 25,000. Many alumnus are currently undergoing BCL training.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I am a student studying biotechnology in the College of Agriculture, Vellayani. The eligibility criteria is 6 out of 10 OGPA grade. There is a sepearate entrance exam which will be conducted for a total of 20 seats in the university.

Fees & Scholarships :   Course fee may vary from semester to semester and it is generally around Rs. 65,000 per year. All students can apply for scholarship for professional course. Out of 20 about 40% have scholarship based on community and income.

Academics & Faculty : The class at College of Agriculture starts at 9:00 am and goes upto 4:00 pm. Projects and assignment is for 1 full year along with a scientist and can be done from other institution also. There are 2 exams one 20 marks and another final for 80, practical subjects have a total of 200 marks.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : In the College of Agriculture there are nearly 3 hostel for girls and 2 hostel for boys. Hostel provides with high quality meals at cheaper price. Food items cost around 50 rupees. Hostel fees is around Rs. 29,080 per year. PG facility is provided. Quality of classroom is outstanding.

Clubs & Associations : College of Agriculture provides a facility for student clubs like arts club, sports club, forest club, social service club, nss club, speaker club, planning forum club etc. There is politics in the campus of College of Agriculture. The festival which will be conducted in campus like art fest, sports fest, film fest, trikarthika, onam, vishnu, holy, christmas etc. The life at college is enjoyable.
