Library:

The Library is an important component in the University when it comes to teaching, learning and research.
It is a one of a kind library with collections of Archeology, Ancient Indian History, Anthropology, Linguistics, Sanskrit, Philosophy and Religion.
Today, it has a collection of more than 170,000 documents within a carpet area of 42,000 sq. ft.
It has stack rooms, reference, reading and 40 independent study rooms for research scholars.
At the first floor, there is periodicals and reference books, while the ground floor has the administrative wing, reading room and stack room.
The University subscribes to more than 150 Indian and foreign journals.
The University library has been chosen by the UGC under the INFLIBNET program.
The library has internet connectivity of 100Mbps under the NKN project by the MHRD.
There is an institutional repository has been set up that contains scanned copies of old manuscripts.
It is part of the "UGC Infonet Digital Library Consortium" giving it access to e-journals from e-sources like J-STOR, Springer Link etc.

Museum:

There are two museums, one about archeology and the other about Maratha history.
The main aim of the University Museum is to display cultural remains of the ancient past and provide information on India's heritage.
The main audience of the museum is students, teachers and members of the general public.
It provides a research facility for scholars by providing antiquities retrieved from excavated and explored sites.
