DTU Hostel Fees 2026

How To Pay DTU Fees?

DTU fees for all courses can be paid through the DTU student portal (dtu-eceportal.com). The university doesn't accept any cash or cheque; the full payment process is online via the DTU Saarthi / ERP Portal. Below is the steps to pay the fees through the DTU fees portal:

Visit saarthi.dtu.ac.in or the student ERP portal.
Log in with credentials like DTU Roll Number and password.
Click on the "Financial" or "Fee Dues" tab. You will see the exact pending amount.
Select "Pay Online." This redirects you to the SBI/HDFC payment gateway; Pay the fees using Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI.
Once the payment is done, download the receipt. That candidate needs to show up at the time of physical verification.

DTU Cancellation and Refund Policy 2026

DTU follows the UGC and JAC Delhi refund policy. UGC refund guidelines apply to all courses except BTech. While for the BTech course fee refund, the university follows the JAC Counselling regulation. Below is detailed information for both regulations:

JAC Delhi refund policy

As per the JAC Counselling process, if the candidate withdraws before the deadline of counselling, they get a 100% refund, just a deduction of INR 1,000 as processing fees; otherwise, only the security deposit or cautionary fees will be refunded, and the candidate loses the seat acceptance fees.

Before the Withdrawal Deadline: 100% refund with a deduction of INR 1000 processing fees.
After the Withdrawal Deadline: No refund of seat acceptance fee, only the caution or security deposit will be refunded.

UGC refund policy

As per the UGC fees refund policy, 100% fees will be refunded if the candidate withdraws 15 days before the last date of admission. And no refund after 30 days from the last date, except the caution money.
