DTU M.Tech Fees Structure 2026

DTU MTech fees is INR 2.53 Lakh for the 2-year program. DTU fees include tuition fees, student welfare charges, facilities and services fees, examination fees, medical insurance, and other mandatory university charges, students have to pay an INR 1000 one-time fee in the first year. DTU M.Tech Eligibility Criteria

To apply for the DTU M.Tech program, candidates must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• Candidates must hold a B.E./B.Tech degree or equivalent in the relevant discipline with minimum 60% marks or CGPA (55% relaxation for SC/ST/PwD categories).
• Final-year students can apply provisionally but must submit qualifying degree proof before the specified deadline.
• Sponsored full-time candidates require at least one year of work experience with a sponsorship certificate.
• Non-GATE candidates must appear for the DTU-conducted admission test while meeting the same academic qualifications.

DTU MTech Admission Process 2026

DTU MTech admission mainly prefers GATE-qualified candidates. The DTU University Delhi prepares a merit list based on valid GATE scores. How to Apply for DTU MTech Admission 2026?

DTU MTech admission 2026 is conducted in online mode only. Candidates must apply through the DTU admission portal. The DTU MTech application process usually opens in April to May after the GATE results. DTU admission process includes registration, form filling, document upload, and fee payment.

• Visit the official DTU website at dtu.ac.in and go to the Admissions section to access the MTech registration link when activated.
• Register as a new user by entering a valid email ID, mobile number, and other basic details to create login details.
• Log in to the portal and complete the online application form, providing personal information, academic qualifications from B.E./B.Tech, GATE scorecard details, category certificates if applicable, and select preferred MTech specialisations in order of priority.
• Upload scanned copies of required documents, also ensure files meet specified size and format requirements.
• Carefully review all entered data and uploaded files, as post-submission edits are generally not allowed.
• Pay the non-refundable application fee of INR 1,500 online through available gateways such as net banking, credit/debit card, or UPI.
