Entrance Exams & Admissions : 1) Complete the 12th standard. It is the eligibility criteria for these courses. 2) Entrance examination is not compulsory. If you complete JEE MAIN examination then topmost colleges will offer you to join through merit. 3) Eligibility cutoff is split into some categories. 50% for open category, 45% for BC/BCM candidates, 40% for MBC/DNC candidates, 35% for SCA/SC/ST candidates.

Placements & Internships : I did an internship during my semester vacation at the respected hospital and stipend wasn't provided. Tata, Wipro, Sutherland are some of the huge placements that were available on the campus. About 70% of students get placed per batch. Even after graduation, the alumni Network still help in the employment of fresher from the college
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria to enter this college was to secure minimum cut off of 60% in maths, physics, and chemistry, biology. I attended the KEAM exam, but that wasn't mandatory for admission in this college. After verifying my marks with original certificates. My seat was confirmed with a small fee.
Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is INR 85,000 per year including hostel fees. It will mount to INR 1.3 Lakhs each year with food and accommodation, And it is not worth the fees. Only government-approved scholarship are available. College doesn't provide any scholarship
Academics & Faculty : Class timings are from 9 to 4 30, exams are conducted regularly at end of the month. The assignment is given often but checked properly or stringent about it. Teaching methods are very average, the staff is not much experienced.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Hostel fees are about 50k, and the facilities are not worth it, each room 6 students are crammed together with food quality average. Per meal, it costs about 50rs. Dining halls are spacious but allotted to a large number of students, so not much spacious. Wifi is not available, classrooms are average. The library is ample with a book, but very few books are available for issuing out.

Placements & Internships : All the above-mentioned internships and placements practically don't exist. The placements are simply worst at DSEC. Everything has existence in records and nothing else.
Academics & Faculty : The infrastructure may make you think it has all facilities and qualified faculty. Simply if you are passionate about engineering just don't go there your future will get demolished. Projects: they expect that engineer means you have to bring some welded or any structure made by you. I gave a project where the whole idea was designed for future of space research and they simply don't listen to you because you have to do it by yourself am I an engineer or a welder. The overall experience is weird. Assignments are given to students only for revenge purposes and definitely not for educating. Food is awful at DSEC. Simply if you once became a student you have to wait like anything to meet the principal and in case your parent comes to see principal you will be sorry that you are born. They will make them wait like hell. You have to pass they need your fees and marks and nothing else. If you are an eminent sportsperson, please do not spoil your career . If you love hobbies and values of life stay away. But if you just want to pass and you can do anything for that you can join this college
Fees & Scholarships : This is frankly a business organisation rather than an educational institution. If you don't pay the fees at the beginning of the year they will send you out of the college when you pay you can attend the class at DSEC. They claim that they collect only university prescribed fees. But the extras they collect in the name of books ,deposit, etc, If you are a middle class stay out. Government scholarship options are available but once you are a scholarship student you will have to walk to the office for a hundred times to sit in the class. You will be responded in the office like strays.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Don't say that I did not warn you. The worst place on earth to spend Rs 60000 per year for hostels. Despite all holidays you have to pay full fees and the food is awful at DSEC. If you are health conscious runaway.
Clubs & Associations : The college has everything in records but nothing really exists. The leader of the NSS student society itself is being treated like dog. Many talents are buried here at DSEC.
