Horticulture graduates are hired in many public and private sectors as HEO's, HDO's, ADO, AEO SMS, food inspector, seed inspector. One can also apply for agricultural officers in banks and other financial institutions. If one opts for Masters Degree after the completion of Ph.D. one can become Scientist and work in the university itself and can also be promoted to become a professor in the respective field.
