Bachelor of Arts [BA] is an undergraduate course offered by FLAME University [FLAME], Pune. BA is an extremely popular undergraduate course that students pursue right after the Senior Secondary level.
FLAME’s educational philosophy is rooted in the concept of liberal education, a system of instruction that transcends the artificial divisions that exist between disciplines and unmasks the underlying unity of all knowledge. It urges the student to engage with multiple disciplines in order to view issues from different perspectives leading to deeper understanding and better solutions to problems. The eligibility criteria are as follows:
For Higher Secondary School Certificate or State Boards, CBSE and CISCE (Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations), 40% marks in 12th standard with English as one of the subjects is the minimum requirement.
The admission process is as follows:
FLAME University has an online application process. You are required to provide information such as entrance test scores, personal contact details, educational qualification, work experience (if applicable), achievements / extracurricular activities, and statement of purpose.
An admission test is a mandatory qualifying criterion for admission to FLAME University. Admissions are also down through their own admission test called the FLAME Entrance Aptitude Test (FEAT) for Indian applicants. FLAME also accept SAT / ACT scores for admission. In the application form, you need to indicate whether you wish to appear for FEAT. If you do not wish to appear for FEAT, you need to provide your SAT / ACT scores. You also need to provide your center preference for FEAT (if applicable) and Essay / Personal Interview (PI). FEAT and Essay / PI are held on the same day. FLAME University will try to schedule your Essay / PI at your preferred center. However, the university is not obligated to allot your indicated center and may schedule your Essay / PI at a center of its own choice.
Additionally, you need to upload your recent passport size photograph (.JPG or .PNG format, file size less than 5 MB) and scanned copies (self-attested) of the below-mentioned documents in support of your application. If you do not have scanned copies of the required documents ready at the time of submitting your application, you should upload these documents on the application portal or e-mail these documents to admission@flame.edu.in soon after.
