GRMC, also known as Gajra Raja Medical College and Research Centre was established in 1946.  It is a public medical college affiliated to Jiwaji University Gwalior and Madhya Pradesh Medical Science University, Jabalpur. GRMC is also a recognized institute by the  Medical Council of India and offers various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in the medical field. The admissions to GRMC are done on the basis of NEET scores. 

The admission to UG courses is done on the basis of NEET UG scores and the PG admissions are done on the basis of NEET PG scores. The college is associated with a teaching hospital of 1100 beds on the same campus which provides practical experience to medical students. GMRC has highly proficient faculty and publications in the field of physiology, biochemistry, surgery, Opthalmology etc.

GRMC Admission

The GRMC admission 2024 has started. It is done by filling up an online application form available on the official website and at the GRMC. The candidate needs to apply and qualify for the NEET UG or NEET PG examination for admission to various UG and PG courses.

The courses offered by GRMC have the following eligibility criteria

MBBS Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates must secure a pass percentage of 50 and above in the 10+2 with English, physics, chemistry, and maths/ biology/ biotechnology or equivalent
• The candidate has to qualify for the NEET UG exam

MD/MS  Eligibility Criteria

• The candidate must be a graduate
• A valid NEET PG score

GRMC CutOff

GRMC cutoff for 2022 is yet to be released. Candidates need to qualify for the NEET UG 2022 exam to get admission to the MBBS course. The cutoff is different for each category. In 2021, it was 720-138 for UR category, 137-108 for the OBC category, and 137-108 for SC and ST categories.

GRMC Placements

GRMC does not offer in-campus placements for MBBS courses. A compulsory 1-year internship is a part of the curriculum. Post-completion of PG courses in their choice of specializations the students get placed in government or private hospitals with a salary range of 7-12 LPA.

GRMC Scholarships

GRMC strongly believes that money shouldn't be a constraint or an obstacle for a student to have access to quality education and accepts the Mukhya Mantri Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana scholarship awarded by the Madhya Pradesh government.
