GEC Bhubaneswar Admission

Admission at GEC is based on the marks secured by the candidates in their previous examinations. The candidates need to meet certain basic eligibility criteria to get into the academic programs of the institute as well as pass the JEE and OJEE national level entrance exams.

GEC Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria are based on the courses chosen by the candidates. Below are some details regarding the eligibility criteria.

GEC B.Tech Eligibility

• Candidate must have successfully passed +2 Science or 10+2 Board Examination Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one other relevant subject.
• The candidate must have secured an aggregate 45% marks in the above subjects taken together.
• The candidate must have qualified with a rank in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) or Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) conducted by OJEE Board.

GEC M.Tech Eligibility

• Candidates must have passed a bachelor degree (B.E or B.Tech) or equivalent in the relevant field with at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
• Candidates having a valid GATE score get higher preference.

GEC MBA Eligibility

• Candidates must have passed bachelor degree of minimum 3 Years duration with at least 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
• The candidates need to have a valid CAT/JAT/MAT/ATMA score.

GEC BBA Eligibility

• The candidate should have passed +2 Examination of C.H.S.E., Odisha or its equivalent in any discipline with English as passing subject and with a minimum 45% marks in aggregate.
• The selection will be based on the career and written test with equal weightage.

GEC BCA Eligibility

• The candidate should have passed +2 Examination of C.H.S.E., Odisha or its equivalent in any discipline with Science, Commerce, Arts, Mathematics/Business Math/Statistics/Diploma Eng. as one of the secondary subjects.

GEC B.Sc (ITM) Eligibility

• The candidate should have passed +2 Science Examination of C.H.S.E., Odisha or its equivalent.

GEC Diploma Eligibility

• The candidates must have passed the HSC examination or 10th examination from Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.
• The candidates must have secured minimum aggregate of 35% marks in 10th standard in English, Math and Science subjects and must have 30% mark in each subject.
