Infrastructure & Facilities:

LIBRARY:
Our library house an enriching collection of text and reference materials for Nursing Students, medical journals, medical magazines, periodicals and research reports, which have been carefully selected from a number of national and international sources. The library provides a very healthy environment for reading and consulting. Photocopies facilities is also available.

FACULTY:
Faculty is the prime factor which motivates and converts the potential of students into productive, result oriented activity. Our well qualified and experienced faculty always give their best to the students to make them able to face the challenges in the nursing field.

LECTURE HALLS:
The lecture halls of G.S.S.N. provide the airy and academic atmosphere for nursing students. They are equipped with modern teaching aids and provide an environment which is learner centered and convenient according to INC norms.

COMPUTER LAB:
Our computer lab is equipped with TFT Normal Screens Computers on wireless LAN running with fast internet facility under the guidance of efficient faculty. Regular classes for Nursing students are conducted in fully developed Computer Lab with internet facility under the guidance of efficient faculty.

COMMUNITY LAB

M.C.H. LAB:
Our computer lab is equipped with TFT Normal Screens Computers on wireless LAN running with fast internet facility under the guidance of efficient faculty. Regular classes for B.Sc.(N) students are conducted in fully developed Computer Lab with internet facility under the guidance of efficient faculty.

HOSTEL (Girls & Boys):
We provide to the students “A home away from home” a well furnished hostel for 300 students in the school campus for the students under nursing programme. Every room accommodates 2 to 3 students. We also provide to the students. Water Cooler, Geiger in winter, television on each floor, beds with mattresses and reading table with chair and steel almirah  for keeping their valuable things. Security arrangements are strictly maintained in the hostel premises and in the school area.

DINING HALL:
There is a large dining hall which is spacious, ventilated and hygienic with adequate tables, chairs, Bhojan thaals, water coolers with purifier and hand washing facilities. Mess is also attached to it.

AUDITORIUM:
There is a large auditorium which is spacious, ventilated and hygienic with 300 chairs.

HEALTH POLICY:
A complete physical examination is a must for every new student within seven days after the arrival of the student. Every student is required to take preventive inoculations and vaccinations for Hepatitis B, Typhoid and cholera and other communicable diseases as considered necessary.

RECREATION FACILITY, SPORTS AND GAMES:
A Recreation facility got provided to the Nursing students. A reading room is provided with daily newspapers and magazines. Facility related to sports i.e. indoor games viz Badminton, Skipping Rope, Double Rod Chess, Carom, and other games items are available in the hostel premises.

TRANSPORTATION:
We have a separate Nursing bus and minibuses for the students as conveyance facilities for their community health experience in rural areas and for going to clinical areas in our parent  hospitals.Transportation Facilities include (4-Bus and 1-Tata Magic.)

GENERATOR (ALTERNATIVE POWER PACK):
G.S.S.N. has generator facility. It provides electricity supply in case of electricity failure. We have 24 hour power supply in the campus and hostel.

OTHER FACILITIES:
All rooms contain: Almirah, Charts, Electricity and Fans.
Administrative Block, Common Room, Record Room, Store Room, Mess, Water Coolers, Visitor Rooms, Girls & Boys Common Rooms, Guest Room, Warden's Room, Sick Room and Canteen are also available.
