• Candidates must have passed the Gujarat Higher Secondary Education Board (GHSEB)/Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE)/Indian Certificate of Secondary (ICSE) or its equivalent examination under 10+2 pattern in Commerce Stream.

• Applicants should have passed the examination under 10+2 pattern in Commerce Stream with English, Accountancy, Business Administration/ Economics/ Statistics as the subjects to get admissions for GLS University, Ahmedabad.

• Applicants can get the admission form from the Faculty of Commerce office.

• Students can login to the online admission portal and fill the Application Form.

Admissions for B.Com at GLS University will be done as follows.

• The applicant applying for the admission for B.Com course will be given preference according to the merit list declared on the basis of standard XII examination result.

• Eligible applicants will be granted admission according to his/her rank in the relevant merit list and availability of seats.

• To get admission for BBA course at GLS University candidate should have passed the Gujarat Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHEB)/ Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE)/ Indian Council of Secondary Examination (ICSE).

• Or it's equivalent with English and Mathematics/ Physics/ Accountancy/ Statistics/ Business Mathematics as the subjects.

• Applicants must have obtained a minimum of 45% aggregate for open category candidates and a minimum of 40% for reserved category (SC/ST/SEBC) candidate.

• For reserved category candidates, admission will be as per the guidelines of Government of Gujarat.

• Admissions to all categories will be on merit.

Applicants seeking admission for MBA programme at GLS University should possess a Bachelor’s degree from any university recognised by UGC.

• The applicant applying for admission will be given preference according to the merit list declared on the basis of the result of the HSC examination.

• Merit lists for General Category Quota, as well as applicable Reserved Category Quota, will be displayed on the specified date. 

• An eligible candidate will be given admission according to his/her rank in the relevant Merit List and the availability of seat for I-MBA.

• Applicants from other state boards than Gujarat Board will have to obtain Provisional Eligibility Certificate from GLS University.

Applicants seeking admission to the M.Com programme should possess a degree in Bachelor of Commerce/Business Administration/Management (B.Com/BBA/BMS) with relevant commerce subjects from any university recognised by UGC.

• For M.Com admissions at GLS University candidates should register online through the official website.

• Admission to all categories for M.Com course at GLS University, Ahmedabad will be on merit.

Integrated M.Sc (Information Technology)

• The candidate must have passed the Gujarat Higher Secondary Education Board (GHSEB)/ Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) / Indian Council of Secondary Examination (ICSE) or its equivalent under the 10 + 2 pattern in General or Science stream during the current year with English, and Mathematics/ Physics/ Accountancy/ Statistics/ Business Mathematics/ Book Keeping/ Computers as the subjects.

• Open category candidates should have obtained a minimum of 45% marks and Reserved category candidates should have obtained a minimum of 40% aggregate to get admission for integrated M.Sc at GLS University.

Ph.D

• Applicant should have completed a Master's degree or a professional degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body, with at least 55% aggregate.

• Candidates who have cleared the M.Phil course work with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent from a recognised university are also eligible to apply for Ph.D course at GLS University.

 PGDCA (PG Diploma in Computer Science and Applications)

• The candidate should have completed graduation in any discipline from a University recognized by UGC.

• An applicant who has appeared in the final year examination can also apply.

Integrated Masters Programme

Candidates who want to take admissions for Integrated Masters Programme at GLS University, Ahmedabad should have com-pleted Bachelors degreee from recognised university.

Integrated M.Sc (Information Technology)

• Register for the Course online by visiting the official website.

• Fill the application form with relevant information 

• Submit the application form and pay the fees.

Ph.D

• Candidates can download the Admission form from the official website. Alternatively, collect the form from the School of Doctoral Research and Innovation, GLS University.

• Fill up the application form, attach necessary documents and submit the form along with fees of Rs.500 to the office.

PGDCA (PG Diploma in Computer Science and Applications)

• Candidates fill the Application Form online by visiting the official website.

• Upload required documents

• Submit the filled Application Form

Integrated M.Sc (Information Technology)

• Admission at GLS University for M.Sc integrated course to all categories will be on merit.

• For reserved category applicants, admissions will be as per the guidelines of Government of Gujarat.

• Candidates from Boards other than Gujarat Board will have to obtain and produce a Provisional Eligibility Certificate from GLS University.

• Separate category-wise merit lists will be prepared by the GLS University, Ahmedabad.

Ph.D

Admissions for Ph.D programme at GLS University, Ahmedabad will be based on GLS research and aptitude test. 

PGDCA (PG Diploma in Computer Science and Applications)

• Admission for PGDCA at GLS University will be given based on the score in Graduation and Personal Interview.

• For reserved category applicants, admissions will be as per the guidelines of Government of Gujarat.

• Candidate should have passed Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/ Applications/ Information Technology/ Any branch of Engineering or Technology.

• Applicant must have passed any graduate with one-year PGDCA/ A Level Certificate of DOEACC.

• Application Form is available online, candidates can register online through the official website.

• Fill the application form with relevant details

• Submit the filled application form

• Candidates should take the online test and shortlisted candidates in the online test will be called for the interview.

• Admission to all categories at GLS University for M.Sc programme will be done on scores obtained in the online test, interview and percentage of graduation.

• Candidates who studied in the Universities other than Gujarat University will have to obtain and produce Provisional Eligibility Certificates from GLS University.

• Admission to reserved category applicants will be as per the guidelines of Government of Gujarat.

The applicants should also have passed the Higher Secondary School Examination (Standard XII, 10+2 pattern) or Bachelors' degree with Mathematics or Business Mathematics or Statistics as one of the subjects with a minimum of 50% marks. 

MCA Lateral Entry

• For MCA lateral entry (direct admission to the second year), the applicants who have passed the qualifying examination in the stream of Bachelor of Computer Applications or Bachelor of Science (IT) or Bachelor of Science (Computer) are only eligible.

• Candidate should have a valid CMAT score to get admissions for MCA integrated course. 

• Candidate should apply online through the official website

• Register and fill the application form with relevant information

• Upload relevant documents

• Pay the required fees as mentioned in the instruction.

• In GLS University admissions are given by ACPC based on CMAT score.

• Admission to reserved category applicants will be as per the guidelines of Government of Gujarat.

• The admission process will be done by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC) based on the merit list.

• Applicants from other than Gujarat University are required to produce provisional eligibility certificates from the GLS University.
