Placements & Internships : I haven't done any internship as I 'm still studying. The key companies that come for hiring in Government College of Engineering were only ITs
Entrance Exams & Admissions : I have got admission based on KEAM entrance and Kerala board of plus two examinations in Government College of Engineering. The typical cut was based on entrance rank.
Fees & Scholarships : I have got the fee waiver scholarship, I pay only 1000 Rs.per year. Only 3 students were permitted to get the scholarship in a department in Government College of Engineering.
Academics & Faculty : Class timing is from 9.30 AM in Government College of Engineering. Two internal exams are conducted for every semester. The quality of teaching is good and helpful.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There is only one hostel which is for girls in Government College of Engineering and it costs Rs. 5000/- per month. The whole college is assisted with WiFi and all the classes are with projectors.
Clubs & Associations : The main festivals in Government College of Engineering are technical and arts fest which conducted once a year and other college students were invited to the tech feast. The life in college is pretty good.

Placements & Internships : You could apply for central sector scholarship if your yearly family income is below 6 lakh. Usually, key companies TCS , MRF hire mechanical students with a salary package around Rs 3 lakh .
Entrance Exams & Admissions : In order to get the admission, you should write the Kerala engineering entrance KEAM.
Fees & Scholarships : Semester fees are around Rs.6200. All central and state level scholarship are provided for students. Loans can be easily obtained from banks but usually, it's not necessary since fees are very less.
Academics & Faculty : Teaching is very good. We have permanent staff taking our class with help of presentations. Overall teaching is very good.Each subject will be having 2 assignments each.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : 2 blocks are there for both boys and girls. Total hostel fees will be around Rs 2500 monthly.Wifi is available in both hostels and on the campus.If the hostel is not obtained in the first year then lots of PGs are present nearby.
Clubs & Associations : Each year we will be having at least one fest.We used to have a rotation system. We have a Tech fest, a cultural fest , and one with all the technical,cultural and sports mixed. All of these are organized by college union.
