Inderprashta Engineering College or popularly is known as IPEC. It was founded in 2000. It was set up as a self-financed institute under the aegis of Shail Garg Sansthan. The institute got its approval from the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). It is affiliated with Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University. It scored 2nd rank in Dr. Kalam Entrepreneurship in 2018. It is consistently ranked among the top 10 colleges of University. It offers UG and PG courses in Engineering and Technology.

For B.Tech the specializations are Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Information Technology, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering. For M.Tech the specializations are Computer Science, Production Engineering, VLSI Design.

Its specializations are Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, and Communication Engineering, Information Technology. The Duration of the course is 4 years. And, the admission is done through the merit list of UPSEE.

The eligibility for pursuing the UG course is to be passed in 12th with Physics and Mathematics as a compulsory subject along with the optional subjects like Chemistry/ Bio-Technology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject with 45 % marks in total and for reserved category 40 % marks in total from any recognized board or university.

The Institute offers specializations for M.Tech are Computer Science, VLSI Design, Production Engineering. Its duration is 2 years with four semesters.

For PG Courses the eligibility is to have a bachelor’s degree in any engineering field. The admission is done through the guidelines given by the university. And, who scored in GATE are also preferred for admission.

-The specializations for M.Tech are Computer Science, VLSI Design and Production Engineering. The eligibility for M.Tech in Computer Science is to have a BE/B.Tech degree in Computer Science or Information Technology or MCA or M.Sc in CS or IT. For M.Tech in VLSI Design, the eligibility is to have a BE/B. Tech in Electronics Engineering or M.Sc in Electronics. For M.Tech in Production Engineering candidates should have BE/B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering with 60 % and for reserved category 55 % marks in total.
