Placements & Internships : For Microbiology course, no such placements from college. One has to pursue B.Sc. than M.Sc. in any branch of Microbiology that one desires and then can apply for jobs as a lab microbiologist, food microbiologist, microbial ecologists, medical microbiologist, soil microbiologist, etc. Or one can also opt for a PhD or D.Sc. the degree of further knowledge.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Admissions are based on merit and availability of seats. No entrance examinations, only walk-in interviews.

Fees & Scholarships : The course is not like major and pass course system. The courses here are offered as 3 subject combination... With Microbiology, one can either opt for Chemistry and Zoology or Genetics and Biochemistry. The course fee is divided semester wise, i.e. INR- 20,000/- each semester. Many scholarships are provided to the students according to their merit, performance, behaviour and financial status. Moreover, the topper of each course in each semester is also awarded scholarships.

Academics & Faculty : Classes in Indian Academy generally starts from 9:15 am to 4:00 pm. And generally 50 mins lunch break is given in between the classes. Class routines are flexible. Quality and method of teaching solely depends on the teacher/lecturer. So Microbiology department is endowed with excellent proficiency of staff. The overall experience in college is really good.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 3 hostels - one for boys, one for girls, and one solely for nursing course girls. Hostels are at walking distance from college. Hostel fee may vary depending upon the sharing. Hostels are hygenic but food may cause sometimes stomach upset. PGs are available for both boys and girls just near to the college. Cost may be between 6500-7500. College is provided with a roof-top canteen where food is available during all the class hours. The food is good and affordable. Wi-fi campus with well equipped classrooms and laboratories. Library is also provided with information corner and browsing corner.
