Indian Education Society commonly known as IES came into existence on 29th September 1917. It was introduced by Shri Nagesh Mahadev Kale, Krishnaji Mahadeo Barre, Shri Deshmukh, Shri Aras, and Shri Koranne. It is located in Dadar Mumbai and is one of the oldest public trust in India.

There are several schools and colleges under the IES. Colleges like IES Management and Research Centre and IES College of Architecture are under the Society. The aim of the Society is to create students who would be successful professionally.

IES College of Architecture:

IES College of Architecture was introduced in 1995. The courses offered are Bachelor of Architecture which is a full-time course and four part-time master courses with different specializations. The Bachelor’s program is affiliated by the University of Mumbai and the Master's programs are under Yashwantrao Chavan Maharashtra Open University. It is recognized by the Council of Architecture.

IES College of Architecture aims to provide an inspiring learning environment for the students. The institute has set up a way of imparting knowledge to the students helping them being responsible professionals and excel in the field of academics. The students are given an internship on the second semester of 4th year as a part of the course structure. They are given internships in the best architectural firms. As the internship comes to an end, the students must attend the viva voce held by the college.

IESCOA Highlights:

The college was established by the Indian Education Society whose aim is to impart architectural knowledge to the students. It is located in Bandra West, Maharashtra.

IES Management College and Research Centre:

IES Management College and Research Center is one of the oldest public charitable institutions in India. IES MCRC is considered as one of the biggest and most premier business schools in India. The institute offers full-time undergraduate and part-time master programs affiliated by the University of Mumbai. It also provides PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) course approved by the AICTE. The institute provides an excellent environment for research and development. IES MCRC encourages its students to take up various NGO projects and organize CSR activities.

• The IES MCRC classrooms are air-conditioned, spacious and well maintained. There are LCD displays in every classroom with a projector to provide smart classes to students.
•  The library of the institute is huge with more than about 36000 books related to subjects like business, management, economics, IT, etc.
• The library is Wi-Fi enabled and well furnished. There is an E-section provided by the institution which consists of information on current topics, Indian and international journals. 
• The systems in the computer laboratory are well maintained with the latest software. The internet is fast as it is wired by optical fiber. There are two internet connections on campus one of 20 Mbps and the other of 50 Mbps.
• The IES MCRC auditorium is air-conditioned with a seating arrangement of 800 students. Any seminar or conference is held in the auditorium.
• IES Management College and Research Centre focuses on the development of their students not only in academics but also in all fields. The institute provides additional recreational activities too.
• There are a number of indoor games available on the campus. Games like table tennis, carrom, chess are available in the IES MCRC student lounge. Outdoor games like volleyball, cricket, throwball, etc take place on hired grounds.
• IES MCRC has two canteens available in the campus. The college canteen is located on the ground floor whereas the cafeteria is on the second floor of the institute. The canteen and the cafeteria are available to the students during breaks.

IES Junior College:

Indian Education Society's Junior College is a multi-storeyed building. The classrooms are well ventilated. The courses are offered in commerce and science streams. The laboratories available on the campus are well equipped and well managed.  There are physics, chemistry, biology, computer, electronics and electrical laboratories available. The library is well stocked with all categories of books and study materials.
