The Indian Institute of Technology Sonepat, established in 2014, is a public-private partnership institute involving the Government of Haryana, the Ministry of Human Resource Development, and the Government of India. The mentor for this institute is the National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra. IIIT Sonepat offers BTech and PhD programs in Computer Science and Engineering and Information Technology. IIT Sonepat: The class of 2023 got a 78.79% placement rate.A total of 78 BTech students were successful in landing jobs in large corporations. The average domestic package increased by more than 18% to INR 16.51 LPA, while the maximum domestic package offered was INR 52 LPA, representing a 3% increase from 2022.The average package for 2023 CSE was INR 15.43 LPA.Reliance Jio, Amazon, Polygon, Deloitte, Infosys, L&T, IBM, and TCS were among the leading recruiters. IIIT Sonepat Admissions 

GATE 2025 registrations are now closed for admission into MTech. It would take place on February 1, 2, 15, and 16, 2025. Registrations for JEE Main 2025 Session 1 are also closed. This test would be held on January 22-31, 2025. Admission to BTech programs of Computer Science and Engineering, as well as Information Technology, takes place in the IIIT Sonepat through the score secured at JEE Main. All courses are through entrance, and eligibility has to be fulfilled before applying. Registration under the entrance exams must have been done, and the scoring should have been above qualifying in the exams.

IIIT Sonepat Cut Off 

IIIT Sonepat BTech, MTech, and other UG/PG courses cutoff 2024 was finalized after the JoSAA Round 5 seat allotment and two additional CSAB counseling rounds. The JEE Main 2024 cutoff included opening and closing ranks for General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and PWD categories under AI and HS quotas. The most sought-after course was B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering, with a closing rank of 28994 for the General AI category, and in Information Technology, it was a bit more relaxed cutoff at 32173. For the OBC category, the last round of cutoffs ranged between 12954 and 14394. Cutoff trends are going up with the rising competition for top courses.
