The IIM Udaipur Scholarship 2025 will be awarded to students so that they can pursue their academic careers without any financial hurdles. IIMU also provides scholarships in the form of tuition-fee waivers and other financial aids for eligible students in their respective courses.

IIM Udaipur Government Scholarships

IIM Udaipur recognises the talent of its students and rewards them accordingly by offering various merit scholarships by the Government. Students are encouraged to pursue sports alongside their academics. The scholarships are offered by the Government of India or by the Government of Rajasthan.

IIM Udaipur Other Scholarships

In addition to merit scholarships by the government, IIM Udaipur also offers another scholarship that is a partnership between The Hans Foundation (THF) and IIM Udaipur (IIMU). More details of this IIM Udaipur scholarship 2025 is exhibited below.

• The Hans Foundation and IIM Udaipur partnership scholarship is awarded to first year female students of the 2-year MBA Program for the year 2025-27.
• The Hans Foundation (THF) works towards improving the quality of life of underprivileged communities in rural India.
• The foundation mainly focuses in areas of Education, Health, Livelihoods and Disability.
• THF works with the aim of alleviating poverty, economic inequalities, and making the quality of life better through social development programs.
• Students must note that over the years,this foundation has offered financial aid or scholarships in collaboration with State and Central Governments, various educational institutions, corporates, academia, and non-government organisations.

IIM Udaipur MBA Financial Assistance

IIM Udaipur scholarships are awarded to deserving students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds to provide equal access to quality education. The IIMU scholarship is also offered in the form of financial aid to all categories of students.

The scholarship eligibility criteria and other details are given below.

• Students whose annual household income of less than INR 4.5 Lakhs are eligible to apply for this IIM Udaipur financial aid.
• In case any other students also face severe financial difficulties, they too can apply for these aids. But students must get it cleared from the IIM Udaipur Scholarship Committee before applying for the assistance.
• The financial assistance is also offered directly in the form of tuition fee waivers. The amount is determined by need of the students.
• Students must note that if interested and eligible, students must apply for the financial assistance in the IIM MBA fees by filling in the Financial Assistance Application Form Online.

IIM Udaipur MBA Banking Loans

In addition to the aforementioned financial assistance and scholarship details, IIM Udaipur has tie-ups with most of the major banks of India for students to get a loan for studying. The details include,

• The loans offered by the government and private banks cover most of the tuition fees and other course fees for the students.
• The details regarding the rates of interest and other loan conditions are confirmed directly by the banks at the time of admission.

IIM Udaipur PhD Financial Assistance

The IIM Udaipur scholarship 2025 for the PhD scholars is offered in the form of fellowship. Once selected, the students have their tuition fee, hostel fee and other program expenses waived off. In addition a stipend is paid as financial support for students to support themselves.

The details of the IIM Udaipur financial assistance for PhD students is listed below.

• For Accommodation-
  • As mentioned above, all Ph.D. students are provided with single room accommodation (or equivalent) at no charge. They also receive a shared office space on the campus.
  • Students must note that a hostel for married students is in the works at the moment. Meanwhile, married students receive a monthly rental allowance of INR 10,000 for off-campus housing with their families.
• Monthly Stipend: The details of the IIM Udaipur scholarships in the form stipends is mentioned below-
  • For the first two years of the PhD course, students receive a monthly stipend of INR 37,000.
  • An amount of INR 40,000 is awarded on clearing the comprehensive exam.
  • Lastly, another amount of INR 44,000 is awarded to the PhD scholars after their proposal defense.
• Laptop Allowance: One of the most crucial financial assistance extended to the PhD scholars is a one-time allowance of up to INR 50,000 to purchase a laptop or a PC.
• Contingency Grant: The IIMU financial support offers a contingency grant to the scholars for purchase of different academic items. The details include,
  • An amount of INR 50,000 is offered in the first year for purchasing books, research materials, hardware, software, and stationery items.
  • From the second year onwards until the end of the fifth year, the amount offered is INR 25,000.
  • Students must note that all payments would be subject to actuals.
• Research Funds: The PhD students are also eligible for funds for their dissertation-related research. The details include,
  • Students are awarded an amount of up to INR 1,50,000
  • The research fund must be utilised under the supervision of the advisor.
• Conference Funds: IIM Udaipur encourages their PhD students to attend conferences which can be both national and international conferences and seminars to present their research papers.
  • A grant of INR 20,000 per year is awarded to the scholars to attend national conferences and seminars.
  • A total of INR 2,00,000 over a period of four years is offered to attend international conferences and seminars.
  • Students must note that the scholars are allowed to go only if their research papers are accepted.
  • Additionally, the IIM Udaipur scholarship 2025 for PhD scholars makes them eligible to receive an additional funding of INR 2,00,000 to attend another international conference if they co-author any research paper with an IIM Udaipur faculty member. The paper must also get accepted at a FT50/ IIMU A* journal list during their PhD program tenure.
• Merit Based Immersion Program: In addition to all the above mentioned points, the IIM Udaipur scholarship program is extended in the form of funds for an international immersion for up to two students who are chosen on the basis of their merit. More details include,
  • The program enables the chosen scholars to spend four months at an esteemed international university.
  • The program covers all travel costs, living expenses, medical insurance and other contingencies for the period.
  • Students must note that this scholarship program is unique only to IIMU students and not to all other IIMs under the brand umbrella.
