The School of Business at IIT Guwahati offers the IIT Guwahati MBA. The program is two years long and spread over eight terms. The first year covers a wide range of subjects related to management science.

IIT Guwahati MBA Eligibility Criteria

IIT Guwahati MBA eligibility requirements consist of a valid CAT or GMAT score (for international students) and a minimum graduation degree of 60% (or 55% for students in the SC and ST categories).

Final-year students are also eligible to apply. If chosen, they will be admitted on a provisional basis as long as they fulfill all prerequisites by the deadline and obtain a minimum percentage and CGPA (or its equivalent) for the qualifying degree.

When total marks or CGPA from qualifying degree exams are awarded, the percentage will be considered.

IIT Guwahati MBA Fees

The average tuition fee for the MBA course is INR 11.20 Lakhs. Other variables of fees, such as admission fees, hostel charges, and other charges, are not included. 

Other charges, such as the admission fee and refundable deposits for the institute, mess, and amenities like the library, are INR 34,100. 

IIT Guwahati MBA Admission

For admission to the MBA program from the School of Business at IIT Guwahati, students are required to take the CAT/ GMAT exam and interview. The selection process is divided into two parts. For the initial selection process, the CAT scores, performance in qualifying exams, and other factors are considered. These are given below:

Based on their performance in the CAT, a preliminary shortlist of candidates will be created to issue invitation letters for interviews. Work experience is not compulsory for admission but is preferred. 

IIT graduates qualified for JEE or JEE (Adv.) with CGPAs of 7 or higher on a 10-point scale will not need to take the computerized test (CAT) and will be contacted immediately for a personal interview.
