IGDTUW placement has an impressive track record for facilitating recruitment programmes at the University. The IGDTUW highest package received was INR 82 LPA. IGDTUW average package received by 40% of students is 14.5 LPA. After their internships, some 35 students have already received offers from Microsoft of 51 LPA package.

Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women Delhi placement 2023 is ongoing. As per the IGDTUW New Delhi placement data till October 2022, a total of 751 offers were made, 207 pre-placement offers and 156 full-time offers were made. Big companies like Mc Kinsey and Bain and Company have extended their full-time offers to many final-year students. The highest international package received by the students of IGDTUW is INR 1.2 CPA.

The cell comprises a highly energetic and dynamic team of students and faculty members, with Prof. Nathi Ram Chauhan (MAE) and Prof. Jasdeep Kaur Dhanoa (CSE, ECE and IT) as the Training & Placement Officers. The IGDTUW has seen an increase in the Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women placements numbers over the years. The total IGDTUW average package received by students is 26 LPA. • Google visited the campus thrice - for FTE in AE, SWE and Silicon Engineering profiles.
• Pre-final year students at the IGDTUW placement drive received offers of summer internships from companies like the DRDO and the National Spark Internship from IIT Roorkee.
• 15 pre-final year students were selected as a mentee in the Microsoft Engage programme nationwide.
• One pre-final year student was shortlisted for the Harvard WeCode Scholarship. 
• One student obtained an internship offer from American Express after being one of the Amex Makeathon's top finalists.

The Training and Placement Cell (T&P Cell) at IGDTUW plays a crucial role in organising the campus placement program. It actively organises regular seminars to help students improve their communication skills and personality development. Qualifying IGDTUW students receive various job offers from the university's T&P Cell each year. Microsoft, Adobe, Google, Visa, Cisco, Tata Consultancy Services, Philips, Myntra, Oracle, Mahindra & Mahindra, IBM India, and Cognizant are among the firms that frequently visit the campus for internships and placements.

The Training and Placement Cell also conducts training sessions on popular software and technologies. The Mechanical and Automation engineering team, managed by the Training and Placement Cell, has successfully attracted over 20 companies for both full-time employment (FTE) and six-month internship programs.

IGDTUW Internship

The IGDTUW Placement Cell also provides various internship opportunities to graduating students. Internships are also an integral part of the IGDTUW New Delhi placement drive, offering both paid and unpaid internships. The duration of the internship programmes varies from 2 months to 6 months. Uber offered an internship package of INR 1.6 LPA, which was the highest internship package received by a student at IGDTUW  placement 2022-23.

Similarly, paid internships have been offered to more than 300 students at the beginning of their third year in the IGDTUW B.Tech programme. Some of these programmes include National Spark Internship, DESIS Ascend Educare Mentorship, MIR lab(USA), Millennium Fellowship, Shraman Foundation and many more. The hiring company often extends the internship duration based on the student’s performance and calibre.
