The duration of the postgraduate courses is a term of two academic years. The duration of the dual degree course is a term of six academic years. Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women provides doctorate programmes in Engineering & Technology and Applied Sciences & Humanities departments. The admission to the phd courses is based on RAT (Research Aptitude Test) conducted by the university. The candidates qualified JRF, UGC NET, GATE, CSIR NET and any other equivalent examinations are exempted from the RAT exam. The details of the eligibility criteria are given below:
