Indore Institute of Science and Technology, Indore, Madhya Pradesh, was founded in 2003. It is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi Proudyogiki Vishwavidyalaya (RGPV) for B.Tech in Computer Science/ECE/IT/ME/CM/CE and ME in Computer Science/Digital Communication/Machine Design, B Pharm and M Pharm courses[2], and Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) for BBA (FT), BCom, B.Sc. (Maths, Stats, Comp Science), BA(Hons) Economics and Master of Business Administration.

The Indore Institute Of Science and Technology has all the basic facilities. Mentioned below are some of the infrastructure facilities available at IIST Indore:
- Hostels- Students at IIST have access to world-class hostel amenities. It offers separate facilities for boys and females, with both hostels accommodating more than 250 students. Each room is a tripe sharing and is furnished with modern conveniences such as an attached bath and toilet.
- Canteen- Students' taste buds are catered to in a multi-cuisine, roomy canteen at an affordable price.
- Library- IIST Indore has a massive technical library that spans 15,000 square feet. The library houses business publications, pharmacy books, national and international journals, and periodicals. This modern library is entirely dedicated to students and faculty members' academic needs. It also contains a section dedicated to newspapers.
- Computer Labs- Among all the educational institutions in Indore, IIST has one of the best computing environments. In addition to a high number of laptops, cluster/virtualized servers, and a campus-wide network with Wi-Fi connectivity, the institute has over 1000 PCs. The leased line's internet capacity of 12 MBPS enables complete Internet access.
- Sports- Apart from popular outdoor sports such as cricket, hockey, football, and table tennis, IIST has begun yoga and meditation sessions to assist students in mentally recovering.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria are the percentage in computer science engineering and my percentage is 78.2%.
Fees & Scholarships : Indore Institute of Science and Technology, [IIST] Indore Fee Structure. The fee for my course is Rs 70,000 per year. The scholarship is given based on the percentage scored.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Institute has a huge infrastructure with a beautiful lush green ground and clean campus. The wide and vibrant canteen is one of the major attractions where delicious organic food is served with proper hygiene. Institute has well-equipped labs, sports arena, and separate hostels for girls and boys. Transport facility is available to every corner of the city for students and faculties.
Entrance Exams & Admissions : The admission criteria for the course is based on your 12th PCM percentage as well as on the JEE rank. The management doesn't charge any admission fees.
Placements & Internships : The institution has tie-ups with topmost industries. Preparatory classes are held to build a strong foundation for students to work well in industries. The efforts of the placement cell have resulted in 100% placements. IIST maintains the alumni network and alumni occasionally visit the campus for peer interaction program.
Fees & Scholarships : IIST has an affordable fee structure with merit-based scholarships for students with good academic records. Special sports scholarship is also awarded to international, national, and state-level players.
Academics & Faculty : There is no second opinion about the importance of academics and IIST has made sure to excel in the field. At IIST the curriculum has 23 Special Interest Groups (SIGs) helps in polishing the technical skills of the individual student. I am associated with Additive Manufacturing and Mechatronics SIG. The Career Development Cell (CDC), the in-house training cell provides classes on personal development, communication skills, and aptitude for placements.
Clubs & Associations : There are many SIGs and student clubs that conduct many technical and cultural activities. IIST students are marvelous in every activity. Mechanical Engineering Department is associated with professional bodies like Quality Circle Forum of India (QCFI), Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), Indian Society of Heating, and Refrigerating & Air Conditioning (ISAHRE) organizes different events for students. The main events are technical fest, youth fests, and an annual function named DAZZLE.

As an IT department Student, it is certainly a delightful experience to be part of IIST. The institute with huge infrastructure has provided me the perfect academic and corporate exposure through various SIGs (Special Interest Groups), Workshops, Expert lectures on emerging technologies, Training on IoT, Data Analytics, AI, Machine Learning, etc., by industry experts and special Aptitude & Personality Development sessions which are required to become a professional engineer. Learning at IIST is fun, apart from academics, the management has been a great support to the students, focusing on their extra-curricular activities as well, providing opportunities in different fields so that students get a chance to enhance their own capabilities through club activities.
