How to Check IHM Bhubaneswar Result 2021?

IHM Bhubaneswar results 2020-2021 of various B.Sc and M.Sc semesters are updated on the ‘Notice’ section of the IHM Bhubaneswar official website. The mark verification notice, re-examination form and schedule are uploaded on the website immediately after the release of semester results. The process to check the semester examination results and the examination schedule is mentioned below:

• Go to the official website of the Institute of Hotel Management Bhubaneswar - ihmbbs.org.

• Go to the ‘Academics’ section and click on ‘Notice Board’.

• From the results list, students can choose their course and semester and view their regular results and re-exam notification.

• To view the re-examination result, click on the re-appear/re-exam result followed by the date of the semester exam or year. 

• To view the regular or re-exam result of the Diploma course, click on the Diploma result followed by the academic year.

The IHMBBS result published on the website includes the list of student’s names and marks in the different subjects of the semester. The status of their result is mentioned at the end of the row, as Pass or Reappear/Compartment. If the result is withheld due to various reasons like failure in the previous semester, malpractice or fee dues, it will be indicated as ‘RTW’. Revaluation Process for IHMBBS Result 2021

Students who wish to verify their marks or improve their results can request mark verification within 15 days from the result announcement date. The mark verification notice and request form is attached to the result PDF, which can be downloaded from the ‘Notice Board’ section of the IHMBBS website. Students are required to transfer a sum of INR 300 per subject to the institute’s bank account and mention the same transaction ID while submitting the scanned copy of the filled out mark verification form to the mentioned email ID. After mark verification, students can further apply for the supplementary/re-examination, the date sheet published on the website soon after the regular result announcement.

To pass a theory and practical subject, a candidate must secure at least 40% and 50% marks, respectively, in internal assessment and end-term examination together. For the B.Sc program, a student who has failed in more than six papers/subjects of first and second semester taken together, and for the M.Sc program, a candidate who has failed in more than one paper/subject in both first and second semester, shall not be eligible for promotion from the first year to the second year of the course. The failed student has to re-enrol to the failed semester and will be required to re-appear in all the papers of the semester.
