Academics & Faculty : The daily routine is pretty good at Institute of technology and management as it all starts with theory classes at 9:30 am to 12:30 and then there is a short lunch break then after 1:30 pm it all start with practicals, laboratories, and other activities. The quality of teaching is not so good. My overall experience is really pathetic, the whole system is like a middle school.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : For joining Institute of technology and management, the applicant must have aggregate 60% in physics, chemistry and maths in an intermediate or equivalent examination. There is UPTU exam held for admission across u.p. The students have to clear the UPTU, WBJEE, JEE MAIN. The cutoffs are mainly ranged over 40-50% for an average college.

Placements & Internships : I don't have any idea about the placement in Institute of technology and management but the diploma section is good as I have heard for placements.

Fees & Scholarships : Course fee in Institute of technology and management is about Rs. 70-80k per year accordingly but if you got a scholarship then it may vary and can be affordable, one more thing results in matters. Maximum students get a scholarship here. Loans, no, I too applied for a loan due to a family problem but didn't get from this college and I am still seeking for a loan.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There is only one hostel located in the Institute of technology and management campus which is also only one. Hostel fees are Rs. 60k which also can fluctuate on student basis depends on the admission mode. PGs are cheaper other than a hostel as it is around Rs. 100 - 2000 p.m which can be afforded. Food is normal and sometimes really sick which you cannot complete your meal. Wifi is not 24*7 it starts in evening and get off in morning. Library has old books with very old editions, there are many classrooms but they use only a few classrooms and third and fourth floor are mostly unused.

Clubs & Associations : There's are no society and no clubs etc in Institute of technology and management. Main festivals are only for the students in school inside the campus which are below 8th grade only. Life going is too boring.
