ISDI Infrastructure Details

ISDI infrastructure is spread over 43 acres of lush green area in the Kurla West region of Mumbai. It is equipped with all the modern facilities for holistic developemnt. ISDI has separate hostels for girls and boys, a library and other amenities. Some of the highlighting features of the ISDI School of Design & Innovation infrastructure facilities are listed below.

Hostel: ISDI hostel facilities are provided separately for girls and boys. The hostels are furnished with all the required amenities for the students to stay comfortably. In addition, safety and cleanliness are maintained in the hostels, and the staff and the students are responsible for maintaining the same.

Library: ISDI library has a massive collection of books, research materials, periodicals, magazines and journals. Students can conduct study hours and research in the library. The student identity card acts as a library card.

Medical Facilities: ISDI has a first aid and a medical room dedicated to medical injuries and emergencies. First aid boxes are present in every workshop and product laboratory to tend to any mishaps and injuries during academic work. Students are rushed to the nearest medical centre in case of a serious injury or illness. ISDI campus also includes ambulance services which operate 24x7.

Studio Facilities: One of the innovative things about the ISDI infrastructure is the media studios. The studios are modernised and are equipped with rapid prototyping labs, including 3D Printing and maker spaces. In addition, it also has Virtual Reality (VR) and Visual Effects (VFX) centres. 

Locker Facilities: ISDI infrastructure offers one locker per student to store their work and even their personal items. There are rules that the students must adhere to, and failing to do so can lead to consequences.
