 Jagannath Institute of Management Sciences (JIMS) Vasant Kunj was established in 1993 under the aegis of Jagannath Gupta Memorial Educational Society (Regd.) The Admission inquiries can be made online on the institute's official website or by visiting the institute.

JIMS Vasant Kunj is an AICTE-approved institution Skill Knowledge Provider (SKP) and training partner of Media and Entertainment Skill Council (MESC) for the conduct of vocational degree courses (B.Voc) in respective streams in partnership with Jagannath University, Bahadurgarh.

Admission to the JIMS Vasant Kunj courses is done purely based on merit and the candidates are required to take JET (JIMS Entrance Test) followed by a personal interview. Based on their performance on the JIMS Entrance Exam, the shortlisted candidates will be contacted for a personal interview (JET). The candidates are finally chosen based on their general performance in the JIMS Entrance Exam and Personal Interview (JET).

The written /online test for all the courses, other than Interior Design, Fashion Design and Mass Communication is divided into the following sections mentioned below.

• English: Verbal Ability & Verbal Reasoning
• Maths: Quantitative Ability
• General Knowledge & Current Affairs
