The Jawahar visitors' house (JVH) of JNCASR, is located in the Gymkhana grounds of the Indian Institute of Science. IISc is locally referred to as "Tata Institute". The Gymkhana grounds is located between the IISc. circle and the Yeshwanthpur circle. Once inside the gymkhana grounds, take a right turn. The JVH is at the end of the road. A ride to the JAWAHAR visitors' house in an auto rickshaw from the City Railway Station would cost Rs. 60 - 70 approximately.

VIN Laboratory :

Veeco Instruments Inc (Nasdaq VECO), a leading supplier of instrumentation to the nanoscience community has established a Veeco India Nanotechnology Laboratory. This Laboratory is jointly operated with the Jawaharlal Nehru Centre for Advanced Scientific Research (JNCASR) located at Jakkur Campus, Bangalore."Icon Analytical Equipment Pvt.Ltd.; is Veeco's Representative in India for sales and service for their range of SPMs and Profiler (stylus and Optical) products."

Animal Facility

The JNCASR animal facility is located in a secluded corner of the campus, away from noise and pollution, providing an excellent environment for animal care. The facility is equipped for small animal experimentation with quarantine, breeding and experimental rooms for rodents and rabbits. Animal experimentation is under the control of the Institutional Animal Ethics Committee of JNCASR and animal use is regulated as per the guidelines of Government of India.
