K. M. Agrawal College of Arts, Commerce & Science, Kalyan, affiliated to University of Mumbai and grant-in-aid from Government of Maharashtra was founded by Hindi Bhashi Jan Kalyan Shikshan Sanstha, Kalyan, in September 1994. The college has its vision, mission & objectives according to the national policy which involves quality promotion and its sustenance. With a proactive management and a faculty proficient in their skill, this dedicated team has together realized its goal of pedagogical excellence.
NAAC Bangalore accredited the College at “A” grade with CGPA 3.03, on December 10, 2014. College is now striving to get the status of the “College with Potential for Excellence” by UGC. The institute has a Junior College wing offering intermediate [+2] courses in Arts, Commerce and Science streams, as well as a number of interesting certificate courses. In addition to the traditional B.A, B.Com and B.Sc courses the college also started a wide range of contemporary subject courses in their UG program. K. M. Agrawal College of Arts, Commerce and Science also has PG courses for higher studies across all three streams in addition to a PhD centre which offers Physics, Economics and Commerce curriculum.
The Intermediate is a pivotal stage in the academic life of a student as it provides a strong base for higher studies; the institute offers courses in the streams of Arts, Commerce and Science for the Junior College level.

Additionally, there are some specialization-specific criteria that must be met to be eligible for admission to any of the self-financed courses. They are as follows-

To obtain admission to any of the PG courses, students need to have completed their UG or any prior degree/examinations with minimum marks required for qualification, or as stipulated by the Institute. The Admission Processing fee for the PG course is INR 200.
