KNS Institute of Technology (KNSIT), Bangalore, is a prominent engineering college affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, approved by AICTE, and recognised by the Karnataka government. Spread over 20 acres, the campus was inaugurated by Mrs. Sonia Gandhi and former C.M. Shri S. M. Krishna. KNSIT offers five BE programs with admissions based on KCET scores.

Admission Procedure

1. Complete and submit the application form to the office.
2. Attend the interview as scheduled.
3. Upon selection, enrol by paying the prescribed fees.
4. Outstation candidates must download the application form and mail it to the provided college address.
5. Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
6. Telephonic interviews are available for outstation candidates, subject to the application form reaching the admission cell.
7. Submit original certificates at the time of admission.
8. Admission is contingent on approval from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU)

Required Documents

• Class 10/SSLC/ICSE/CBSE certificate with proof of date of birth.
• PUC or equivalent marks sheet.
• Transfer and conduct certificates from the last attended institution.
• Migration certificate for non-Karnataka PU students.
• Address proof (e.g., utility bill).
• Six recent passport-sized photographs.

Additional Documents for Foreign Students

• Valid student visa.
• Passport copy.
• Residential permit.
• Eligibility certificate from VTU for qualifications obtained from foreign universities.
