Kongunadu Arts and Science College, is a general degree college located at Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. The college is affiliated with Bharthiar University and established in the year 1973. It is an aided Institution under Government of TamilNadu and autonomous Since 2004.It is Approved by the UGC and AICTE. It is re-accredited by NAAC with 'A' Grade 3.64 CGPA out of 4 (3rd Cycle)along with  College of Excellence status awarded by UGC.This college offers different courses in arts, science and commerce.Started in the year 1973 with a humble beginning, the college has grown magnificently in academic stature with autonomous status having 13 research departments, 15 PG departments and 20 UG departments. The goal and Objective of college is to Maintaining high academic standards.Educating students from rural, agricultural community by giving preference and Empowering women through education.Making every student of the college skilled and employable.The College has the following committees to ensure proper management of academic, administrative activities and evaluation. All committees meet periodically and discuss the matters in connection with quality sustenance and quality enhancement.Our college has various clubs to establish the various skills of student as Cultural Club, Music Club,Health & Fitness Club,Yoga & Meditation Club ,Kongu Photo & Video Club Reading and Drama Club, Quiz, Radio Programmes & Inter-Collegiate Events Club , Consumer Club, Swami Vivekananda Study Circle, Tamilzhar Tharkappu Kalai Mandram.Our college has the following Co-Curricular Activities NSS ,NCC,Physical Education ,YRC To create awareness and promote the respective fields by the following cells are there such as Human Resource Development Cell,Entrepreneurship Development Cell & Skill Development Cell . Apart from regular class our college regularly conducts the following classes for the benefit of the students. Coaching Classes for ICWA, ACS & CA , Coaching Classes for Civil Service Examinations ,Coaching Classes for Bank Exams.

Application for admission to the College should be submitted only in the prescribed form available in the College Office and the Website.Normally, admissions are done only once in a year in the beginning of the academic year. Student can download Application from their respective Website. Kongunadu Arts and Science College Muvattupuzha offers 30 courses namely Arts, Science, Commerce & Banking, IT, Hotel Management,Management,Vocational and across degrees like BSc, BA, B.Com, BCA, MSc.At present,Kongunadu Arts and Science College Coimbatore offers various UG and PG courses including BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BCA program. At the undergraduate level, Kongunadu Arts and Science College offers BA B.Sc program with 7 disciplines in aided and unaided  The minimum required eligibility for admission to BA, BSc, B.Com, and BTTM course is candidates must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board of examination. In case of BCA course, candidates must have completed 10+2 with Mathematics, Computer Science, and Information Practical as an optional subject.

These courses are offered to the student full time or part time depending on the choices of candidates.College also offers PhD in Physical education part time to students.
