Nehru College of Management, Coimbatore is part of the Nehru College of Educational and Charitable Trust. The trust was established in 1968, with the primary objective of rendering selfless and dedicated service in the field of aeronautical engineering and subsequently in the field of engineering branches, management, arts, science, and paramedical sciences. 

The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education [AICTE] and is affiliated to the Bharathiar University, Coimbatore.
