Loyola Academy Degree and PG College were established in 1976 in Alwal, Secunderabad, Telangana, India. The college was granted autonomous status in 1992 by University Grants Commission [UGC] and was reaccredited 'A' grade with CGPA 3.5 out of 4 by National Assessment and Accreditation Council [NAAC].

It is affiliated to Osmania University, the institute is administered and managed by the Andhra Jesuit Province, an international catholic religious order belonging to the Society of Jesus. The Loyola Academy Hyderabad admission offers 23 academic courses in undergraduate and postgraduate courses for various departments.
