Since its inception, Management Institute of Durgapur has maintained a close relation with the industry in its efforts to give its students the right idea and appropriate knowledge and hands on experience about the industry. Every year during the Summer Vacation our students are sent to different   Industrial and Corporate Houses of repute for an intense and rigorous training programme.

Placement Assistance

Career Planning & Placement is the backbone of MID. From the very beginning, the Institute has laid great emphasis on giving its students the most appropriate industrial training to make them employable. Job opportunities are provided by the Institute by arranging In-campus and Off-campus Interviews. A separate Training & Placement Cell of the Institute provides necessary placement assistance to the students. This is a highly specialized area which is closely monitored by best of the expert professionals with finest industry and academic background. A dedicated Placement Cell within the Institute headed by expert professionals with association of renowned Corporate Houses, leading head hunters, recruitment companies & placement consultants extend best efforts and support to provide placement opportunities to the students according to their abilities and of course merit.

Placement is not a matter of right. Admission to this institute in no way guarantees employment. The institute will provide employment opportunities as a part of its placement drives. The students will be required to attend special classes, regularly for their soft skills development. Special efforts will also be taken by the institute for grooming them in order to make them employable. Students failing to attend such special classes may not be allowed to taken part in In-campus/Off-Campus Interviews, as and when arranged by the institute for providing them with job opportunities.
