Mangalore Institute of Technology & Engineering (MITE) was founded in the year 2007 by Rajalaxmi Education Trust to fulfil the increasing needs of the industry and ambitions of young students of Mangalore District and other parts of the country, which requires outstanding professionals who can be an asset to any organization. Courses Offered by Mangalore Institute of Technology and Engineering

MITE offers B.E in various fields of engineering. The candidate should pass the higher secondary with a minimum of 50% marks. The admissions will be done on the basis of JEE scores. The merit list will be prepared by the institute based on the merits of candidates in 10+2 and also JEE scores.

•  The admissions to B.E is done through JEE main entrance exam and M.Tech admissions will be based on GATE scores. 
• The MBA admissions is conducted through CMAT Entrance Exam. After the application process, the candidate has to produce valid documents in original for the verification procedure.
• For PhD admissions, the candidate can apply from the last year of the graduation, they have to submit the provisional certificate within the date set by the college.
