Meenakshi College for Women, Chennai, has all the basic facilities, some of which are mentioned below:

Library: The college's main library, Sri Bharathi Theertha Library, is the centre of attention. The library has roughly 47,000 books and is spread out across 10,000 square feet. The library is completely air-conditioned and has a mezzanine floor that stores a portion of the library's book racks. It also has a beautiful atmosphere to sit and read.

Auditorium: More than 3000 persons can be seated in this massive auditorium. It features a balcony space and two green rooms adjacent, as well as superb acoustic facilities and an audio control room. 

Seminar Hall: It is located on the first floor of the college building and is frequently used for technical seminars hosted by the college departments. This lecture hall includes a raised stage with a comfortable head table, marble flooring, and tastefully done lighting to accommodate up to 300 people. The lecture room is fully air-conditioned and equipped with an LCD projector positioned on the ceiling and a retractable on-stage screen.

Open-Air Theatre: The Open-Air Theatre, with the full central quadrangle offering space for the audience, has long been the college's setting for Republic Day and Independence Day celebrations. It is a favourite haunt of students practising for cultural events. The quadrangle is used to conduct cultural contests during the college cultural fests.

Computer Center: The Central Computing Facility of the college is named Sri Abhinava Vidyatheertha Computer Center and is spread across a beautifully furnished 7500 sq. ft. area on the second floor of the College building. The Computer Center houses state-of-the-art computing facilities and is a pride of the college. Apart from this Computer Center, two other Computer Laboratories are connected to the Computer Center through the optical fibre cable.

Sports Facilities: Through its planned and targeted course of action, the college believes in empowering women through comprehensive education. The college has provided a stage for the student's abilities. Students compete in Volley Ball, Basket Ball, Kabaddi, Throwball, Cricket, Shuttle Badminton, Ball Badminton, Carom, and Chess in inter-departmental sports events.

Cafeteria: For the convenience of the vast number of students on campus, there is a College Canteen as well as a smaller cafeteria named Byte Inn. Students, workers, and visitors can enjoy a selection of delectable dishes in both cafeterias.
