MCMDAV offers admission to students under UG, PG, M.Phil and P.hD courses with different specialization to choose from. Under UG department MCMDAV offers the following courses: B.Com, BCA, BBA, B.A, B.Sc. Under the PG department, MCMDAV offers the following courses: M.A, M.Com, M.Sc and under Doctorate it offers P.hD and M.Phil. MCMDAV offers various UG courses such as B.Sc (Hons), BA, B.Com, BCA, BBA and B.Sc. Some of the courses have different specialization from which the candidates can choose their desired option and take admission in. The following table shows the courses offered with their specializations to it.

MCMDAV UG Admission- Eligibility, Fees and Admission Criteria:

Admission to the proposed course requires minimum marks in 10+2 or equivalent. Admission to various UG courses requires minimum marks in the qualifying examination. The minimum marks percentile for UG courses has been segregated into General Category, SC/ ST/ OBC/ MBC, and Other State candidates. The tuition fees for the B.A course is INR 17,040 (p.a), tuition fees for B.Sc is INR 37,200(p.a), tuition fees for B.Com is INR 23,930 (p.a) and for BCA & BBA are INR 37,200, INR 31,820 respectively. Details regarding admission criteria, eligibility, admission fee, etc, are as follows:

B.A	A student who has passed the class XII Examination in any discipline with at least 50% marks from a recognized Board. The student should have passed Mathematics as one of the subjects at Matriculation level. The admission shall be made based on Panjab University rules.
B.Com	A student who has passed the class XII examination in any discipline with at least 50% marks from a recognized Board. The student should have passed Mathematics as one of the subjects at Matriculation level. The admission shall be made based on Panjab University rules.
B.Sc	A student who has passed the class XII Examination under 10+2+3 system of education of a recognized University/Board/ Council or any other examination recognized by the Panjab University as equivalent thereto shall be eligible to offer the subject of Microbial & Food Technology at the BSc level, if the student has passed the class XII examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/ Biology as their subjects. The admission shall be made based on Panjab University rules. If the student is found to be admitted from an unrecognized Board her admission will stand cancelled.
BCA	A student who has passed the class XII examination in any discipline with at least 50% marks from a recognized Board. The student should have passed Mathematics as one of the subjects at Matriculation level. The admission shall be made based on Panjab University rules.
BBA	A student who has passed the class XII examination in any discipline with at least 50% marks from a recognized Board. The student should have passed Mathematics as one of the subjects at Matriculation level. The admission shall be made based on Panjab University rules.

MCMDAV PG Admission- Eligibility, Fees and Admission Criteria:

Admission to the proposed course requires minimum marks in graduation or equivalent. Admission to various PG courses requires minimum marks in the qualifying examination of MCMDAV as well. The course fee for the M.A program is INR 20,060(p.a) and the course fee for M.Sc and M.Com is INR 22,900(p.a) and INR 24,940(p.a) respectively. Details regarding admission criteria, eligibility, etc, are as follows:

MCMDAV Application form 2024

The application format of MCMDAV is done electronically. There is no offline method of getting admission to MCMDAV. Following are the steps that one need to follow for getting admission at MCMDAV:

Admission to all classes will be ONLINE. Physical submission of the form is not allowed.
Only eligible applicants who have applied online for admission to College through the College portal will be considered for admission. Applicants seeking admission to courses regulated through Online Centralized Admission will follow the procedure and Admission Schedule as given on the DHE website.
Applicants will be admitted strictly by the rules and regulations in the latest Panjab University calendar/guidelines/any other instructions which have been or may be issued by the University or Director Higher Education, UT (for Admission to Centralized Courses) from time to time for the respective courses/examinations.
The registration fee will not be refunded in any circumstances including if the applicant is found ineligible for the course at a later stage.
Applicant must check the College Website for Admission Schedule and Merit List for admission to various courses.
Those approved for admission are required to pay the Admission Fee (within 24 Hours).
Fee Receipt will be available in the Student Dashboard after the payment of a fee.
The applicant is advised to check her Student Dashboard (available after registration at the official website of MCMDAV) regularly for admission and status updates.
Scrutiny of the Documents:
The respective College Committees will scrutinise the uploaded documents within the stipulated period. If at any stage any information is found to be false, incorrect or is not supported by the documents presented, the admission will be cancelled.
Candidates must bring their original certificates for verification at a date to be notified later on.
