Students are given an opportunity to pursue the course of their choice without having to pay expensive fees. The average fees for B.Tech courses is INR 3,00,600, for MBA, it INR 1 lakh, and for other master's programs, it ranges from INR 19,000 to INR 30,000.
MJPRU's infrastructure is considered to be one of the best among the government-aided universities, with state-of-the-art facilities for academic, research and co-curricular activities. The university has adequate amenities to serve the essential needs of the students and faculties. The infrastructure comprises facilities like a central library, multipurpose hall, computer centre, sports and hostel facilities.
To make it easier for students who have visual impairments to access computers, the university has included the non-visual screen reader software on the computers. This technology enables from varied languages, locations and financial backgrounds to have a wholesome experience in a competitive environment. The Non-Visual Desktop Access (NVDA) is supported by Google, Microsoft, Adobe and the Nippon Foundation.
The university has laboratories for each specialization, but the equipment used here is outdated and not maintained properly. This makes it difficult for the students to have a proper practical learning experience. Yet, the students must attend the practical sessions compulsorily.
Over 33,000 sq. mtrs of the university’s area is covered by a playground with indoor and outdoor sports facilities. It consists of a large outdoor stadium with a seating capacity of around 200 spectators and has synthetic courts for indoor games.
Apart from that, the university also consists of a well-equipped gym in the indoor sports area, with facilities like 8 electronic treadmills, 1 manual treadmill, 3 AV Pro exercise sets, 6 cycling sets, two decline and incline benches and 12 stations multi-workout gym of 2 sets.
The university has an old-fashioned canteen on the campus that serves quick snacks and beverages. There are little to no seating facilities, with poor maintenance. The canteen has not been renovated for a long time and is not as clean as students would prefer.

MJPRU provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. There are 5 hostels for boys and 4 for girls. The hostels include all the necessary amenities, such as water coolers, common rooms, xerox machines, canteen, vehicle parking, and phones. Timely meals are served through clean and hygienic mess facilities.

Students are mostly accommodated in the hostels available on the campus, and there are not many off-campus hostels and PGs available around the university.

The faculty members of MJPRU are educated and experienced enough to provide a decent education to the students. In comparison to the other institutes, the professors are not as qualified, but they have the required amount of knowledge to teach the students whatever is included in their curriculum. However, the university has better professors than the private institutions.
The teachers at the university are ready to help the students with doubts, and they are easily approachable. Several professors hold PhD degrees from reputed universities. The noteworthy professors are part of important departments like Management, Commerce, Social Sciences, Allied Sciences, and Legal Studies. They also assist students in the preparation for competitive examinations.
The university does not offer good placement opportunities to its students. As most of them plan to pursue their higher education and prepare for competitive examinations, not many students participate in the placement drives.
Although the university has an active placement cell, they fail to invite reputed companies to the campus. The average salary package offered to the students stands at INR 3.5 - 4 LPA. Only a few students get good placement offers with high salary packages.
