Ramaiah Institute of Technology BE Eligibility Criteria
Indian candidates applying for the Ramaiah Institute of Technology BE courses must have passed 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics and an aggregate of 45% marks from a recognised board.
International candidates must have passed the 10+2 pattern of education equivalent to Pre-university of Karnataka with Physics, Mathematics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Computer Science / Electronics / Biology as optional with English as one of the languages of study and obtained a minimum of 50% of marks in the optional subjects.
The candidates must appear for the KEA/COMEDK examination.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : Eligibility criteria to get an admission in Ramaiah Institute of technology is student must get above 80% in board exams and less than 6000 ranking in KCET. Entrance exam which I took was KCET. A cutoff for the branch (Industrial Engineering and Management) is less than 6000.
Academics & Faculty : The daily routine is actually good, not that hectic. Class timings are more or less 6 hrs. In the final year, when we do project and internship, students won't have college for 3 days a week remaining 3 days students have to manage to do projects and classes. Quality and method teaching is actually good. Students get to learn about the subjects on their own. if they find difficulty there will be video recorded for the classes taken, students can approach department and that cd and study. It was an excellent experience in the campus, we get an opportunity to explore ourselves and friends and faculties encourage our talents and also they publish talents and any kind of events in the college magazine.
Fees & Scholarships : Course fee per year is about INR 50,000. There are scholarship options available like backward class scholarships for OBC students. and also based on the marks we get scholarships. very less number of students apply for scholarships. There is no need for loans as Ramaiah does not have the expensive fee.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : Hostels are good and strict too. Students are not allowed to go out after 7 pm. food is available in the mess if they feel like its bad they can have outside. Hostels are located nearby. no need to walk so long also. I have no clue regarding the hostel fee. Canteens are available and the food is also good and hygienic. Per meal its about 40 rupees. The infrastructure of classrooms, labs, libraries, and canteens are good and ventilated.
Clubs & Associations : We have many clubs like NSS, nature club, depsoc, and cultural clubs for extracurricular activities. college annual fest called UDHBAV, and departmental tech fests.

Academics & Faculty : Class timings 9am - 4:30pm. Exams - 3 internals, 1exam per semester. Each semester include as assignments. Course includes 1 mini project and 1 main project. Teaching quality is good. No need to go to tutions, and every classroom has a projector which enhances the learning process. Overall environment of the college is good and many hang out places are there nearby and it is very nearby to Railway station and many restaurants and food places which students can visit.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There is separate hostel for boys and girls. College hostels are good but the food is not that good. NRI hostel is good but bit costly. Food in college canteen is good. Many varieties of fast food is available. College is WiFi enabled and libraries will be opened till 9pm on regular days and till 11pm during exams. Labs are well maintained with sophisticated equipments.
Clubs & Associations : There are many clubs that students can join like NSS, dance, literature, debate, quiz, photography, nature etc. Main fests in college are Rajyothsava and Udbhav. Overall the life is college is good and enthusiastic.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : I came through COMEDK UGET examination. The cut-off for me was above 100 out of 180 and for civil engineering. My board's marks were also considered.
Fees & Scholarships : My fee is on and about 2 lakhs P.A. The scholarship plan is worst thing have seen. They only provide a scholarship to Karnataka students who came through KCET. You can apply for loans. SBI gives loans easily.
Academics & Faculty : A daily routine is well balanced. Class timing is similar and peculiar. The method of teaching is quite effective and informative. I can say that this college provides a good environment for overall development.
College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are three boys hostel and one girl's hostel. Apart from these, there are many hostels, and pg close to the college. Food quality is average in the college canteen. The price is also not much high. the libraries, labs are very rich and advanced. They also have separate departmental libraries, along with digital libraries.
Clubs & Associations : There are many clubs like Debsoc (debate club), EDC (entrepreneurship development cell), fashion club, nature club, dance club, singing club, drama club, photography club. Udbhav is the main cultural fest of the year. Avishkara is the tech fest. Life is very good, joy, calm here.
