Narula Institute of Technology admission is open for the academic year 2024. The college was established in the year 2001 at Agarpara, Kolkata under the aegis of JIS Group Educational Initiative. Narula Institute of Technology Diploma Admission 2024

Narula Institue of Technology offers various Diploma courses in Computer, Electrical and Electronics, and Telecommunication Engineering with a total intake of 180 students. It is a 3-year full-time course which is usually done after the 10th exams.

Diploma Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility for Diploma is a minimum 35% aggregate in 10th standard or equivalent qualified along with the valid score in JEXPO of the current year.

Narula Institue of Technology offers a total of 9 undergraduate courses will an annual intake of 930 students in UG alone. These 9 programs include B.Tech, BBA, and BCA. B.Tech is a 4-year course while BBA and BCA are  3-year courses.

UG Admission - Eligibility, Fees, Admission Criteria

• For B.Tech Candidate must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with physics and mathematics along with any one of Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Computer Science/ Computer Application as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 45% in each for open merit (40% for reserved category. For Lateral Entry admission, the candidate must have passed in Diploma or B.Sc with at least 45% marks for open merit category (40% for reserved category).
• For BCA and B.Voc candidates must have passed 10+2 standard or equivalent with English and Mathematics or Computer Application or Information Practice or BEBM or  Statistics or IT as one of the subjects (Having pass marks) from any recognized board. Must have current year CET Rank.
• For BBA interested candidates must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with English from any recognized board. Must have secured minimum marks in the qualifying examination. Must have current year CET Rank

Narula Institute of Technology PG Admission 2024

Narula Institute of Technology offers M.Tech programs in various specializations and also offers an MCA. They offer 4 different specializations in M.Tech with a total intake of 132 students (72 for M.Tech and 60 for MCA).

PG Eligibility Criteria

• For M.Tech interested candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s degree and obtained at least 50% (45% for reserved categories) at the qualifying exam with a current score of GATE/ PGET/ CEE-AMPAI-MASTERS score.
• For MCA interested candidates must have passed the Bachelor’s degree of a minimum 3-year duration with mathematics at graduation or 10+2 level and obtained at least 50% (45% for reserved categories) at the qualifying exam with a current score of WBJECA/ CEE-AMPAI-MASTERS score

Narula Institute of Technology Application Form 2024

Admissions are offered through online and offline modes. The admissions to the Narula Institute of Technology, Kolkata of the students are based on the eligibility criteria made by the college or University. The eligibility criteria vary for the different courses and according to their requirements. The students should register for admission online, and fill up the application form to submit. • Narula Institue of Technology offers a Diploma for 3 years in Electrical Engineering and Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering with INR 43,000 in the first year and 28,000 in the second and third year. For B.Tech INR 129800 is the first-year fee and INR 90700 is the second-year fee under the NIT fee structure.
• The application form is now available on the official portal of the college, candidate can directly fill up this form and take part in the admission process.

Steps to Apply

• Visit the official website to fill out the online admission form.
• Select course type among UG, PG, or Ph.D. (UG for Under Graduate and PG for Post Graduate). 
• Choose the course/ stream of your choice. 
• Enter last appeared examination details and Obtained marks in percentage. 
• Enter your personal details one by one and upload a passport size (maximum 100kb) photograph. Now fill up your academic details as in 10th, 12th, Diploma, graduation, postgraduation. 
• If you have any Professional qualifications, you can specify them in the text box. 
• If the applicant is a science student, please specify the obtained marks in the particular subject one by one. 
• Please tick on whether the hostel facility is required or not. 
• The candidate can change any information he/ she has recorded at any time before the final submission of the application form. 
• Once the candidate clicks on the “I Agree” button, the application form will be submitted finally and the candidate will not be able to change any data further. 
• Once you click on “I Agree” the candidate will get a message on his/ her mobile number. 
• After submission of the application form, the candidate has to visit the Narula Institute of Technology campus with all relevant documents (Original & Xerox), a Printed copy of the Application Form for Document verification, and the Entrance Exam.
