National Fire Service College Admission 2024: Check Admission Details

National Fire Service College, an autonomous body was incorporated so as to open up a training institute for fire service in-country in 1956 in Rampur, Uttar Pradesh. Later, the college address was shifted to Nagpur, Maharashtra. The college provides training to fire workforce & shares proficiency throughout the world. The college was spacious enough and so some alterations to provide adequacy training with space to perform drills, training & demonstrations under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi.

Initially, NFSC was started with one course later with the growth of technology many professional courses were introduced. In addition to that, on successful completion of the diploma, the students were given with certificate and advanced diploma programs which got recognition from Central Government, State Government & Public Sectors. Undergraduate course B.E/B. Tech was introduced in the year 1978.

NFSC Admission 2024

The guidelines for admissions are framed by Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University [RTMNU]. Admission will be on the basis of the All India Rank JEE Main Exam which is conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education [CBSE].

The first and foremost step is to apply for the course online by students. Fill in the particulars that have been asked and upload all the necessary documents [self-attested] as per the instructions given on the website. The given below are the enclosures to be submitted at the time of Application form submission:

• 12^thMark sheet.
• Caste Certificate.
• Scanned DD copy for INR 500/- for General category & INR 300/- for SC/St as Application Fess on/before the last date.

Then hard copies of self-attested documents along with the original DD to be sent to the Director of College clearly mentioning Registration ID on the top of the envelope (given at the time of admission) and also write in bold “Application for B.E (Fire Engineering) Admission year”. So that the following reaches on/before the last date of Admission.

The following documents to be submitted by students to the college officials. Those are:

• 10th Mark sheet.
• 12th Mark list.
• Transfer Certificate.
• Migration Certificate [For candidates other than Maharashtra State Board of Secondary Education].
• Nationality Certificate from competent authority by SC/ST/OBC candidates and a self-Declaration for OBC.
• JEE Main Paper 1 scorecard.

The college offers an Undergraduate degree in Fire Engineering across 1 stream. And the number of seats that are made available for the course is 60.

Application form to be downloaded from the official website of the college. Fill the form and submit or send it with Demand Draft and self-attested copies of required self-attested documents or can apply online through the official website of the college. Application Fees INR 500/- for General & OBC category & INR 300/- for SC/St as Application Fess on/before the last date.

NFSC Application Procedure 2024

• Visit the college official online portal.
• Select the online admissions on the homepage.
• Click on the Online Application form for the All India Entrance Exam link at the redirected page.
• Opt for the entrance test and attach scanned copies of signature, photograph, and medical certificate.
• Print the application form and attach copies of the necessary documents along with the form.
• The application fee can be paid either in cash or through DD of any nationalized bank.
• DD must be drawn in favor of Director NFSC Nagpur, payable at Nagpur.
• The application fee is INR 100/- for General and OBC category applicants and for SC/ST is INR 25/.
