Placements & Internships : Being in the first year, we don't get internships but talking to seniors and faculty we came to know that the internships are really interesting and you learn a lot. Mostly Marketing and manufacturing roles are offered from campus. Even photography jobs are offered to many students. Students from Fashion Communication are also offered modeling jobs too. The Alumni Network is really strong in NIFT Jodhpur. The Alumni really help us understand the system of how this college works. They have also shared their experiences with all the students. They are very easily approachable.

Entrance Exams & Admissions : The eligibility criteria are that you should be 10+2 pass with at least a percentage of 65% in 12. There is an entrance exam for the initial stage. If the first stage passed a second test called a situation test is taken, and then counseling takes place where students are allocated their campuses according to their common merit rank. There was an entrance examination that checks potential candidates drawing as well as general knowledge skills. And if the student passes the initial entrance examination then they become eligible for the second test. There are no cut-offs as such that are known off.

Fees & Scholarships : The course fee is 3,82,900 per year including mess and hostel. There are multiple scholarship options available like Saarthak, and many others for SC/ST/ OBC students. Manier times loans are required, they are although not easily available to students. Especially for students in general category Scholarships for General category do not benefit enough

Academics & Faculty : The routine remains quite hectic as the classes are from 9:15 am to 5 pm with 45 mins break. The subjects are given a particular hour per week. For each subject, a Learning Diary is maintained, which shows our learning over the period. There are occasional examinations and assignments are given on a regular basis. The quality of teaching is mixed here. As there are some new faculties, and some are experienced enough. The overall experience and atmosphere of the college are really creative and disciplined at the same time. Interaction and Communication is the key in NIFT. A lot of new exposure is given which raw.

College Infrastructure & Hostel Facilities : There are 2 hostels for Girls and one for Boys as the number of girls is more. Hostels are really neat and air-conditioned. Jodhpur being an extremely hot city air-conditioning is a must, and they have fulfilled to that. The hostel fee is 66,000 for a year. NIFT Jodhpur is 24kms away from the city. The PG here is moderate in price but the traveling cost is more. The food is bearable, and it costs 25,000 yearly. The food quality can be improved. The Classrooms, Labs, Libraries are quite good but require more equipment. The Dining hall is a little small to fit all of the students which becomes a problem sometimes. The key infrastructure is really good and properly planned, but still, they could work on shading the few places on the campus. In the afternoon it is extremely hot which could be worked upon. Overall the infrastructure is just perfect for students.

Clubs & Associations : There are four clubs in the college which Literary, Social, Cultural, and Sports. These clubs help us to improve our skills and give us different opportunities. There 2 main fests in NIFT, first is Spectrum where each campus organizes their own programs and students from surrounding colleges join us. Second is Converge where 50 students from each campus meet a particular city and participate in different activities. The life in college initially was difficult to adjust but the seniors are super supportive and so is the faculty, which makes us comfortable. And the all-over atmosphere is really creative and helpful.
