NIFT Panchkula Infrastructure Details

NIFT Panchkula infrastructure is built over an area of 10.45 acres. Hostels, libraries, ornamentation and weaving labs are some of the highlights of the NIFT Panchkula. Some of the highlighting features of the National Institute of Fashion Technology Panchkula infrastructure are listed below.

Hostel: NIFT Panchkula hostel facilities are separate for male and female students, with the girl's hostels having "shared room" facilities. The hostel administrator and the students maintain the discipline, cleanliness, and etiquette of the hostels. The boys' and girls' hostels are situated inside the NIFT Panchkula campus.

Library: NIFT Panchkula has a library stocked with over 9000 volumes of books and textbooks, 2700 slides, 100 project reports, and 58 craft documents. In addition, the library has subscriptions to professional journals and fashion magazines like Vogue India/US/UK and Elle Magazines. Digital databases of over 600 videos, e-books and e-journals are also a part of the NIFT Panchkula library.

Laboratories: Various laboratories for practical purposes are an important part of the NIFT Panchkula infrastructure. These labs help the students practice and learn about their academic course and get an in-hand experience. The pattern-making and garment construction labs are equipped with single needle lockstitch machines, flatbed iron tables, dress forms, and pattern-making tables. The laboratories present on the campus are listed below:
