National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad is an autonomous college founded by Sir Robert McCarrison in the year 1918. Over the years, NIN has received global acknowledgment for the amazing studies it has been doing on various aspects of nutrition research. The institute does not fail to cover the whole aspect of food, proteins, and nutrition. Among the many objectives of the institute, two of them are to identify various dietary and nutrition problems prevalent among different segments of the population in the country and to continuously monitor the diet and nutrition situation of the country. NIN offers M.Sc in applied nutrition and has several training courses.
NIN offers studies in M.Sc. specifically in the “Applied Nutrition” aspect and a Post-Graduation Certification course. National Institute of Nutrition admission also conducts an Annual Training Course on Endocrinological Techniques and their Application. Nutrition Education and training programs are carried out by the Extension and Training Division of the Institute.
As mentioned above, NIN offers M.Sc and a PG certification course. The admission for these courses is solely based on the entrance exams.
